@jj12s Jason and Brooks played the same rhythm to give it a ton more power behind the music, and Jason used the guitar to keep better timing which helped with the trickier task of timing two vocalists. That's why when Jason left they didn't need to get a replacement guitarist.

@calhop Jason left due to his being tired of the writing process and because the band gave him zero credit for writing their songs, when he wrote almost all of them. He's in a great band called Go Radio now and they recently signed to Fearless Records a few days ago, so you can expect to hear more from him:)

well jason left, and franky cabbage isn't good at singing his parts. plus with jason derek never really jumped around as much as he does now, so he is always out of breathe. they still are pretty good live.
I think their both great. But, Derek jumps around alot and that causes him to be out of breath half of the time. I saw them acoustic live, though, and I saw that they are pretty equal. I do like Jason better than Jake though.

When they were on tour with ATL, I had the privilege to hear some new tracks off of the album. There's alot less Cabbage, but Jake does a really good job throughout the album. It's got the same "Mayday Parade feel", but there's less of the three guitars, and more Derek.
jason owned the vocals in the song, the lead singer could do a better job, he sounds like he's out of breath half the time, while jason sounds awesome and is also playing a guitar...

I think their both great. But, Derek jumps around alot and that causes him to be out of breath half of the time. I saw them acoustic live, though, and I saw that they are pretty equal. I do like Jason better than Jake though.

My thoughts exactly. They rules at Warped, but to be honest, it was Jason's vocals and his writing that made me fall in love with this band. I only hope that they still do well OR that Jason comes back. :/

When they were on tour with ATL, I had the privilege to hear some new tracks off of the album. There's alot less Cabbage, but Jake does a really good job throughout the album. It's got the same "Mayday Parade feel", but there's less of the three guitars, and more Derek.

i dont remember the exact date but it was on the plain white t's, boys night out, lovedrug tour. They still had their other vocalist as well (3rd guitar player)
