I have sold the guitar a few months ago and do not exactly remember the neck shape anymore. I would describe it as medium and very playable. Not too thick and not too thin, just right. Sorry, hope that helps...
I've owned a crapload of Les Pauls and My natural SL is my favorite. Mated to my Hughes and Kettner EditionTube combo...I get all the tones I could ever ask for. Great guitar!!!!
i have the sam egibson les paul sl in ebony but mine has a 9 digit serial # on the back of the head stock which gibson came out with in 2005 so if it has 9 digits its a 2005 or newer

Does it have maple top like regular Les Paul? What kind of fretboard?

No maple top, just mahogany. Neck has a rosewood fingerboard.

This is the guitar my brother owns.... I remember he used to play it through a Hot Rod deluxe amp. It kills other Gibsons in sound and playability.

Yes... definitely one of the most underrated instruments out there. This guitar did really kick some Standards and Customs ass.
