Not an Ambassador, the heading's wrong, but a "half power" King Royale head. I now own the one mentioned that was formerly owned by the guitar player who played with Seal (and Bonnie Raitt too). I play a Strat with Kinman AVn Blues (w/ Kinman's treble bleed + dial-in neck p'up mods); I don't get the hum apparent in here. Apretty good video clip of an amazing amplifier. FWIW, I have a TH Club Royale 212 and Vox AC30 HH2: all 3 amps are in the same Vox (& a little Marshall) camp.
Mate i need some advice over which kinan to get? iplay blues to blues rock..so i was between woodstock and blues model. the woodstock seems a bit too meaty for anything other than hard rock but i'm afraid the blues might lack the output..thanks for your help mate
That's the noisiest Kinmans rig I've ever heard. Are you sure your guitar is shielded right or there's not some other problem? Your playing is sublime by the way.
Nice amp. Wish there had been less knob twiddling (that sounds dirty) and more guitar playing. Then again, that one blues lick the guy played over and over was getting old fast. I think these boutique amp builders need to present their stuff in an organized and thorough manner. Check out Greg V's clips at swart amps site. Now that puts the amp in a favorable light!
very SRV kinda sound! For the humming just gate a Noise gate baby lol

WOW!
What a gorgeous roaring and meaty strat sound! Great guitar/amp combo!
Are you using here the SCN bridge pick-up or one of the 62's (middle-bridge)?
This guitar sound is worth a full song!

Well, I was hoping not to hear hum with the kinmans, but it's absoloutely there. I'm quite disappointed.

sure, its there, due to crappy NYC electrical wiring, but listen back to the first tele. the differences are DRAMATIC.
