i remember him well!! i was born and raised about 90 miles from flatriver mo.

great version from ferlin husky of mountain of love . but the original singer that wasnt even mentioned was harold dorman his version was released in 1960 and landed in billboard at number21 4 years later was johnny rivers and landed at number 9.
