well in terms of people liking their sound, its simply due to the fact that theyre one of the best live bands in the world staying right up there with many other live legends for more than 20 years. U2 keep attracting the next generation. my dad is 45 and theyre his joint top band with led zeppelin, and the first song i heard of their's 'sunday bloody sunday' got me straight into them wanting to hear more.

Uno, dos, tres, catorce (all in spanish in album). This is simply because Steve Lillywhite produced U2's 1st, 2nd, 3rd and now 14th album! All others were produced by Brian Eno and D. Lanois (except Pop).

Bono's name stems from the Latin "Bono Vox" meaning "Good voice"- and it's so true. he's an amazing singer. Granted this performance isn't his best, but it still rocks. At the Sydney concert, he was on top form. The band is so tight and in time with each other. They deserve to be called the best band on the planet. 30 years of U2 and still going strong- wow. I adore the band and their music. Thanks so much for your vids.

Bono Vox does actually mean "good voice" in Latin...Bono's friends from Lipton Village came up with the name (with a little help from the now famous hearing aid store in Dublin) as a sort of joke, since Bono's voice then was raw and barely able to carry a tune.
