  • What a track.

  • 1 name. Stevie Ray Vaughan.

  • This rocks

  • If it weren't for the incredibly stupid cartoons that came after all the Batman series ended then I can't help but wonder if cartoons like this wouldn't be viewed as silly childrens cartoons and would actually be taken very seriously as intended. The would would be a much better place if we didn't have stupid unfunny childrens shows like "Billy and Mandy" that show made me wanna throw up...

  • @Samuel24842 Billy & Mandy was fucking funny. Adventure Time---- That's another story.

  • this is so fucking good, every time i hear it i don't get enough.

  • i love this theme, it perfectly matches, it actually sounds like the legacy of terry mixed with the old batman theme and several other small themes from the film

  • I wonder why it took until the movie for this theme to be covered in this way. I love this version of the theme so damn much.

  • 1:07-3:04 the best

  • just by listening to this, brings me back in the day!

  • This is definitely one of the best spin-offs of the Batman franchise.

The series, this movie, the soundtrack, the action figures....

Batman Beyond was my OBSESSION throughout my teenage years.

  • You know The Cover Description is misleading ! Even The " Uncut " Version that was released had edits done to it ! The TRUE Original Version was considered " too disturbing for release " by WB !

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMENT DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO SPOIL IT FOR YOU! Due to what has been seen in Batman: Arkham City, Terry McGinnis may make his world return in the next Batman game... and here is why;

    Harley Quinn is pregnant!

"Momma's gonna kill for you the whole damn world..." ???!!! O_O

    Batman: Arkham World

  • Also 1 person dislikes this because they're not as epic as bruce or terry

  • Batman beyond 4ever

  • I love the guitar playing in this.

  • I dont know why, but Maturer Batman media is way better than the stuff for kids. I mean, how much better was the Uncut version of Return of the Joker compared to the edited?

Batman the Animated Series aswell, and those era shows, which were more mature, are way better than the ones that the kids watch now.

  • the song is awesome the uncut death is disturbing

  • lol joker disliked this video too xD

  • this song is awesome but the uncut deaths plain stupid

  • *SPOILERS*

I saw the edited version on YTV back when the channel used to be good and then picked up the uncut DVD and was surprised on how different Joker's death scene was.

In the edited version Batman pushed him into tubes or something and causes him to get wet and he slips while pulling a switch, electrocuting him. In the uncut version psycho Tim just shoots him.

It was really weird that I like the edited death scene better.

  • @Oathkeeper1985

i liked the edited scene better too, (except then the scene where an old Tim Drake whines about how he killed the Joker dosn't make sense since he didn't really do anything)

I've tried to find it on youtube but all i get is the uncut version

  • Joker's gone for good?

    Ya never know........

  • @Visonu In this continuity he is

  • @untunedguitar45 Yeah, but that's been said numerous times in the continuity LOL Although I do hope he IS gone for good. I think this was definitely meant to be the Joker's last.

  • @untunedguitar45 Ya , Joker`s Appearances in Justice League are set BEFORE his Death in " Return of The Joker " !

  • the name of this song

  • no prizes as to guessing who disliked this theme

  • did batman beyond do a mix of the theme of mask of the phantasm or at least the tune?

  • the joker looks like the mask on the cover

  • i loved the guitar in this show.

  • what does ost stand for?

  • @jonywangwang18

    Original Sound Track, my friend.

  • @AmbassadorKong thanks

  • i miss this series

  • I love this song, but my favorite part starts at 1:06--SO EPIC!!

  • Gabriel Moses goes old school on the guitar!

  • Thanks for uploading, I've been trying to find this song for years.

  • HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been looking for this forever, thank you so much for the upload dude!!!!!!!!!!

  • Finding the Uncut version is hard to find these days but I found my copy at Barnes and Noble bookstore. It is worth seeing however, I will state this is too dark for young kids for example of joker's speech like "how I peeled the boy's mind" makes it disturbing (that is not in the easy-to-find edit version). Don't compare me to family friendly nut-job that gets over-sensitive over violence... I am not like that at all!!! I just like a story with good plot and awesome characters!

  • @cazar4 Unless you count bluray

  • @untunedguitar45 I didn't know it came out in Bluray

  • Kickass muisc

  • Darth Vader: Luke, I am your father.

    Luke/Joker: Lahahahahahahahahahahaha!! Nooooooooooooooooo!!

  • Great soundtrack for a great movie!

  • Mark Hamill is the best Joker ever. Sorry Jack, Sorry Heath. Mark's essence of the Joker is just so natural. Especially that laugh. He is the Joker I grew up with and I know a lot of people feel the same way I do.

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic Mark was good , I`ll admit but Heath truly captured The Joker as he was ORIGINALLY intended : a nihilistic thug and mad genius who`s so psychotic and manipulative nothing he says can be trusted 100% !

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic i m one of those people

    Kevin Conroy= Batman

    Mark Hammil = Joker

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic AGREED mark hamill's joker is a GOD of a villian

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic he wont be topped either

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic Mark Hamill's voice and Bruce Timm's art make the joker hands down

  • @EricMaldonadoMusic I think Heath took the legacy away from Mark though...no offense, but I felt more insync with how heath did the joker....Legendary and amazing...But we all have opinions, and i support yours bro, just sharing thoughts

  • I was watching the censored version without previous knowledge of there being two versions of it and I realized the one I was watching had been manipulated by censors, it's darn too obvious.

  • what key is this music in?

  • i love this movie so much<3

i havent seen the uncut one yet just the other one.

but im sure the uncut is kickass

  • perfect:d

  • I love this theme. I'm going to blow the dust off the DVD and watch this move tonight.

  • When it comes to cartoon Super Hero Movies or TV Shows (now that is specific), this the most EPIC Ending Credit theme music EVER. I think "Justice League" has the best Intro music for this aforementioned genre and proves once again everyone looks good walking in slow motion.

  • Epic song. Epic movie.

  • Spiderman HMMMM !!

    Batman Beyond. Yeha !!

  • According to various interviews, Harley was originally suppost to die from the fall. But Dini hated the fact of killing off one of his Most Successful Accomplishments. And because it provided some Comic Relief. So they changed it to that Harley Survived because of the Injection Poison Ivy gave Her.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

  • So that means there is another Batman The Dark Knight ?

  • How did you know about the poison ivy thing? Is it in the comics or something?

  • In one of the Original episodes of the Batman Cartoon(I watched all of them as a kid) Harley is given a Injection by Poison Ivy to help her take on Batman. Because Harley was originally created FOR the show, then was adapted into the comics. It's from both.

  • @Griggs133 Hold on, what injection?

  • ¿Por que no adaptaron The Dark Knight Returns a una Caricatura?

  • This is my absolute favorite song on the album!

  • Batman Beyond kicks ass

  • i learned this by ear on guitar =) this is the bestBatman theme song everrrrr

  • Violent yes but confusing, Harley Quinn who rocked as a goof ball supposedly dies but yet they say her body wasn't found. And in some stories of her life she left Joker and did marry supposedly being the grandmother of the Twins Dee Dee and the old lady looked like her kinda. So I guess she lived lol

  • yea i watched this movie with the commentary and alan burnett put that part in at the end cu z he didnt want her to die lol

  • The old lady was her

  • Harley Quinn IS the grandmother at the end of the movie, one of the twins actually exclaim" Oh, shut up, Nana Harley."

  • @beautybrainsbrawn How the hell would she have survived that fall and still be able to walk and stuff lol

  • Anybody want to tab this?

  • kenny is so friggin awesome. a blues guitarist doing a drak, epic, almost heavy metal track with one of the best solos and keyboard parts ive ever heard.

  • This was an awesome movie. I was very surprised when I saw how violent the uncut version was.

  • I know, the uncut version was pretty badass

  • @coralin378 what can i say bro, batman is the epitome of being the badass good guy

  • @coralin378

The word badass doesn't describe perfectly how awesome the uncut version was.

  • Is the uncut version on youtube?

  • I'm honestly not sure. I know there are certain parts of the movie that are uncut on Youtube, but I have not seen a full upload yet. I had to just go out and buy the DVD myself. Try Google video if you can't find one on Youtube.

  • Thanks man

  • Parts of it. Look on my profile or on the related videos. You'll see bits and pieces but not the full thing unfortunately.

  • Thanks for the help anyway man

  • @dennisbergkamp17 there is an uncut verson?

  • @Weezing336 Yeah, you can probably find it on youtube or google video.

  • @dennisbergkamp17 yeah i could. lol. I looked up a few clips hhere on youtube

  • @dennisbergkamp17 I love it too and recently saw the uncut and thought the same as you.

  • @dennisbergkamp17 yeah but the game kinda sucked they made better games in 2005

  • @DarknessMaster55 I never played the game, I did have a friend who had it and he said it wasn't that good either. Shame that such a good move had not such a good game.

  • @dennisbergkamp17 The REAL Original Version was EVEN MORE violent ! So much so WB REFUSES to release it on DVD !

  • @1993MovieMan Really ? What was so much more violent about it ?

  • @dennisbergkamp17 Pretty much EVERYTHING in The Uncut Version PLUS Bozo and Joker`s necks SNAP when they die ( which WB deemed TOO graphic ) !

  • @1993MovieMan Wow, and this version has never been released on DVD ?

  • @dennisbergkamp17 Yep , incredible how offensive a couple necksnaps can be , ain`t it ?!?!?

  • Comment removed

  • @dennisbergkamp17 Also , Joker`s electrocution was WAY longer in The Original Version !

  • @1993MovieMan there necks didn't snap, having fun pulling stuff out of your ass?

  • @FabulousZero I`m talkin` about The REAL Original Cut , dumbass ! The one WB deemed " too graphic " !

  • @dennisbergkamp17 That...that's not funny...*hurk*

  • @dennisbergkamp17 awwwwww i havent seen that one lol i herd its better is it ?

  • @OJ010101 It's definitely darker. I liked it. Last time I checked, someone uploaded the whole uncut movie on youtube. It's just divided into parts.

  • @dennisbergkamp17 lol i went to go look it up and apparently i saw the uncut one lmfao so then i ended up lookin up the the censored one lol ,yah uncut is way better but im surprised you thought uncut was violent well i guess i just grew up in a different day n age were you can set gore mode on GTA and shoot peoples heads of and watch em die on the sidewalk lmfao XD i was 6 when i first started playin GTA c(:

  • @OJ010101 Yeah, it's weird, I grew up playing games like Mortal Kombat, but this movie surprised me, I guess because it goes with the Batman Beyond show, which I remember I used to watch on Kids WB and later Toonami. This just seemed so dark compared to the show.

  • @dennisbergkamp17 yah i know what you mean lol theres a reason theres a censored version lol and also a censored version to censor the censored one lmfao

  • I will Never forget my little brothers face when he Unwrapped the VHS tape of this for Christmas.

    Still love the Movie.

  • this song rocked my childhood

  • This movie rocked my childhood

  • 1:04 is where it gets *really* cool!

  • This used to be my favorite movie when I was a kid.

  • amazing,solo is great....

  • @Veles7 If you like the solo style, check out Stevie Ray Vaughan. Kenny Wayne, the guitarist playing the solo for this track has based most of his style on Stevie's playing.

  • Also my fave part of the soundtrack.

  • awsome

  • My favorite of the soundtrack, very very cool.
