    i have a 1988 thunderbird turbo coupe (uber rare 1 of less than 1800 with all options minus leather interior, but it's a 5speed)

    and it's got the same 2.3l turbo 4cyc

    and it puts out the same 190hp 240ft-lbs and weighs 3600lbs (about 400-600 more than an svo mustang) and it is running the stock 15psi

    and it's pretty quick to chirps 3rd if i shift fast enough (granny shifting not power shifting)

    and have had it sideways through 4th gear with stock 3:55 rear gear ratio

  • Oh yeah, OK. So big deal, your Mustang's fast, my mom's PT Cruiser is pretty damn fast too. She had it at Torque Freeks here in Portland, OR and had the cams replaced with stronger ones, new pistons, new crank, new (bigger) injectors, and some other things including an ECU chip to tune it finely. And honestly, my '78 Camaro 305HO I had for a while could do what you're saying, and still get your Stang on the track. So, I never said the PT was a race car, it's just got PULL!!

  • OK, you're entitled to your opinion. You still haven't ridden in my mom's, lol. Or my 350 Silverado, for that matter. I know fast home boy, being that I've ridden in a 756 horsepower, 810 ft lb tq 1968 Chevelle Malibu with a Muncie 4-speed suicide shifter with a Powerglide and a Detonator clutch. My mom's got herself a quick lil' turbo sled.

  • Detonator torque converter is what I meant. Suicide shifter in old school terms is just a tall shifter. So why don't you shut your fucking head and step aside?

  • Are you saying this car is slow? In this video I'm driving it up a 12-14% uphill grade on blind corners, dips, bumps, potholes and the road is just 9 feet wide side to side. I can't link other videos of it on the main road of the island because the local police always check Youtube for illegal races in Greece. There's other videos of my car doing runs on the strip, drifting, doing donuts etc... titled in Greek taken by local kids but I'm not going to link them...

  • @0to60in16seconds hey there buddy ole pal ole boy. dont be a retard. you know nothing about the 2.3l turbos. i have an 86 mustang svo. 2.3 t with boport head cam holset hx35 turbo borla stainless exhaust 3 inch down pipe adjustable boost valve a stinger dual piston bov its an 11 sec car on 8 lbs of boost. they are monstorou cars.

    talking about how great a modern turbo 2.4 making 215hp 245ft-lbs in an ugly ass piece

    when a stock svo 2.3l turbo mustang (with a tiny ass fucking turbo,single cam,2valve per cyc 30year old engine) made 190hp and 240ft-lbs with almost no turbo lag and it's cheaper, rwd, better looking, and easily made faster because the turbo isin't fucking molded in to the manifold
