i can't decide what I like more - Johnny's songwriting or Morrissey's lyrics. I guess it's useless trying to choose between the two...hehe <3 The Smiths
I saw them in 1985 - their last concert ever in NYC!!! I was at the Pier 81 concert - felt like it was such a special event. Who knew it would be their last?!? I love Johnny Marr's playing - awesome guitar and songwriting talent!!! Miss those days - really great, original music. Thanks for the upload!
I've been saying that for so long.....sweet/humble/talented Rourkey forever in the shadow of Morrissey & Marr...but some of us do love and appreciate him!!!
One of my favorite Smiths songs, I personally didn't pay attention to Morrissey's lyrics until years after I heard this song, all I can really focus on is the guitars, bass and drums. I really dig the Rockabilly influence of this one, and one of the songs I like to use as an example of a band that could have gone way farther if they would have had a better singer (sorry Morrisey fans).
amazing!!! lol i love his dance moves!

Lovely look he's got going there. But it's forgiven just because it's Morrissey :)

I think Mozz's next trick will be his confession that he faked it all to make a million and kiss goodbye to Johny and the band

Oversized ripped shirts, cowboy hats, 50s style glasses... Is there anything Mozz can't make cool?

Rourke and Joyce-- as readily replaceable as used lawn mower parts. Quote from Morrissey himself.

@thebostonbruiners A quick listen to any of Morrissey's bands since would show that this was his most retarded statement.

Its scary how good they sound live - the best band ever.
Thanks for the upload, I wish I had been alive in the 80s so I could have seen them.

One of the best Smuiths songs ever - pity there's no studio quality on utube. This is pretty close tho.

Great performance by the core band. I guess Marr hadn't come to the conclusion of needing a second guitarist yet. Still sounds tight.

I think he does have a second guitarist I am not 100%
