@AIyx Yes, you're right, but we must remember that a crash like the ones frome Senna and Ratzneberger could have happened in tracks like Interlagos (see the last corner before the start/finish line). The biggest problem back then were the cars with a small, uncomfortable cockipt, fully open and exposing the body of the driver to the debirs in case of accident, have a look at the Williams of 1994, it was a crime to allow a car like that to compete.

ciao a tutti, sono ancora viva fortunatamente, è vero era pericoloso il circuito ma bellissimo, sono tornata a imola dopo le varie modifiche dove ho anche vinto la gara ma vi assicuro che il vecchio imola non ha nulla a che vedere con il nuovo dove le chicane rendono più sicuro il tracciato ma la differenza di guida dei piloti non si apprezza più. ricordate la seconda di lesmo a monza? pochi la percorrevano come senna...

@tamaravidali mi ricordo bene il tuo incidente, perchè all'epoca il campionato turismo italiano era veramente valido e lo trasmettevano su TMC. Avevo 14 anni e mi faceva strano vedere una ragazza in mezzo ai mostri sacri Ravaglia, Cecotto, Morbidelli ect.. Purtroppo Imola è stata sfregiata sull'onda emozionale di quel maledetto week end del 1994. E curve come il tamburello (o le due di lesmo) erano quelle curve che facevano la differenza.. e mi fa piacere sentire un pilota rimpiangerlo

it is trully amazing ,. this corner was very dangerous . the wall was too close to the track and even more there are no tyre barriers. this corner should have changed long time before roland accident.

Ma ricordiamoci che Senna mori per un pezzo di vettura che gli entrò nel casco..e per la conformazione della vettura..all'epoca erano troppo piu fragili rispetto a quelle di ora

Non è proprio vero che non si fece niente. A causa della forte decelazione ebbe un problema alla retina con parziale distacco.Ora OK ma talvolta vede delle ombre . Cio non le ha impedito succesivamente di provare una Lambo a 320 in parabolica ..
