They hackers work mainly with codebreaker/gamesharks, so the codes tend to appear their 1st till people like me convert them over to other formats.

no character modifier codes work in team battles and shin bison

can not do a critical parade, the partner must. Cycloid has almost

no moves as it is the base for all characters, the zakos are more

advanced and actually a little more playable. Shin bison doesn't

normally have infinite super as the infinite super code must also be one if you want to use real "shin-bison".

I haven't tested it out extensively but for the most part they all have the same properties as the regular characters so I don't personally see the point. Maybe in traiing mode you can see if maybe they do slightly more damage or take slightly less damage but it really isn't enough to actually tell if they're better or worse.

@shinjig Okay, but just out of curiosity, how does the character modifier code, like does it actually replace the character you have picked or is it just a skin modifier, example if I picked ryu on the character screen but in the fight shin bison appeared, would I actually being playing as the CPU shin bison, or ryu disguised as shin bison?

For the last time. The only codes that I had were for the NTSC/US version of the game using codebreaker 8.0.  If you have another region of the game then I can not help you, much less another cheat device.

@jin299 I got those raw codes to work with codebreaker 8.0 now since they're raw, any cheat device that can accept raw codes should be able to process it. including AC v2

@jin299 you know what. I checked my actual PS2 with codebreaker and it looks like I erased the codes... I would need to reenter the codes to make sure.

ok after some testing the codes lists are actually AR2v1/GS2v1. Using maxconvert I was able to convert it to something my CB4 could recognize and it played fine.

Hey shinjig, Long time sfex fan here. Ive always loved garuda and my brother uses bison, so naturally we came upon this video from time to time.

I've finally acquired a modded ps2, got a version of codebreaker 8 and 10, and got the ntsc version of sfex3(i also have the pal version, living in Australia atm) Any way i tried all the codes on both games, that is i tried UK codes on both, US codes on both, then all the codes at once on both. Nothing worked

I'm positive that i have an ntsc version because it wont load my saved games for pal, but not sure how to check if its the US version.

Ill keep d/l different versions till something works i guess.

But one thing confuses me, The codebreaker 8 comes with sfex3 codes, and when you check them out you'll see that they have a different master code????? pretty much a different code structure altogether> Any light on this would be greatly appreciated dude, Keep fightin'!

with garuda as starting char i combo'ed for 120 in a crit parade (3 times the energy circling thing did most of the job)

as far as i can see the combo here has only 2 digits but looks impressive though :)
