sectarianism only exist because of private groups that stage attacks in order to get groups to fight with one another. shiite and sunnis dont naturally hate each other, so the cia and mossad blow up mousqes and blame it on opposing religion.
It takes a strong ideology or a government to force a fake identity. For example, not too long ago 250 million people called themselves "Soviet". Blood is thicker than water. Just ask Hutus and Tutsi in Rwanda, peoples of former Yugoslavia, etc.
thank u very much for this great video. i don't know what to say, maybe only one sentence: everyone who tries to stand up to foreign aims, who tries to underline his own aims and ideology should leave lebanon and go to "his" country...
everyone who has just a little bit of feelings towards his mother country lebanon cannot watch this video without having tears in his eyes.
Wise words. Even if you've left a country torn apart by religious sectaranism (Iraq, Yugoslavia, Northern Ireland) you can feel the pain that the Lebanese nation have endured. It's quite sad when you look at the fact that people are flesh & blood below the skin yet their identification with religion set's families and communities apart.
As John Lennon once put it in his acclaimed song "Imagine all the people, living life in peace, you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one".
iraq, yugoslavia and northern ireland have defrant reglions but they are united but in lebanon shiite fights with the druz sunnie fight with chritions and so on its never ending becuz of a retred politics of syria!!
love it..

Excellent Commercial!
I guess that the model of religion as part of the Governement does not Work.
But it would take generations and years upon years until the people of the Middle East will understand this concept.
When we take away religion we discover that we are all brothers.
Jewish, Sunni, Shiaii, Christian Maronee, Catholic and so on and so forth.
