My opinion: I think that your points say it all. Instead of a real theme to the series, like friendship, or kinship, bravery, etc, It's just a guy going around smashing stuff over petty everyday problems.

thus is probably the reason that it hadn't showed on dvd yet. They probably have something against the mindless aspect, especially where coop doesn't really learn his lesson... everyone wants that in a kid's show these days...

I dissagree with all you said. Then again, I hated this show since the beginning; I always thought it was trying too hard to be cool and channel the awesomeness of real Japanese super robots and failing horribly. It just didn't know what it wanted to be in my opinion. The sad thing? I actually wanted to like it.

because this is what they do to anything that's to cool for the normal human. they give it to us, and then take it away. but to be honest, it ended with possibly the best episode ever, although i wish it would have gone a little bit further before showing that episode, but at least they didn't do over kill*coughnarutocough*. btw, some of the coolest songs it had were "bloodshot, lose my hi" and "interpid"(or close to that). those, in my opinion, were the best songs.
