Oh my god this makes me cry really hard. :( I agree that this song reminds of me the end of Tench..(I don't count Ryo-oh-ki, its such garbage in my opinion).. Makes me think of growing up and we'll never really know what happened between Ryoko and Tenchi! *sigh*

It's been a year since I first commented on this....and I always come back to it, hoping that there will be a link to sheet music. It's such a gorgeous piece and saddens me, yet contents me at the same time. It's lovely, but makes me sad when I realize that this was the end of Tenchi for me (The continuation of Ryo-ohki never really satisfied me).

Just a part of growing up I guess.

First listening:

Piano: Haruna Oboe: Yosho

First half of song Haruna is crying and sad wishing things could be the way they were. Then Yosho comes to her and tries to comfort her. Notice how the piano opposing the oboe to show Haruna not wanting to give up her world. By the end of the song Haruna and Yosho are in sync and playing together. Peace has come. Happiness.

Piano: Ryoko Oboe: Tenchi

First half Ryoko is without Tenchi and sad. She is lost for she loves him yet feels he does not love her. Then Tenchi comes. He begins to love her. As the song progresses their notes begin to intertwine. Finally, at the end they are in harmony.

This begins their love together.
