IOC should consider adding some new sports in the Olympic Games. Shouting, Flag waving， Torch grabbing. There would be many world class contenders and the Torch relay would be the trial competition for it. This is the real Olympics spirit, everyone participates. Should do this every 4 years. :)

The Chinese kept 2 armies at the Russian border in case the Soviets wanted to help the Vietnamese. They then invaded North Vietnam in 79 (also in 84) with another corp - and the NVA kicked the PLA in the butt - 40% casualties in the first month and they withdrew their forces.
After 2 decades of trying the PLA Navy cant even develop a sea going ICBM Submarine. And the Chinese Navy cant even sail beyond coastal waters. Taiwan would win any conflict - everyone knows that.

As a normal Chinese, I think human rights are important too. I don't think every government on this planet is perfect on that.
But all these protests became anti-China. This is unfair and it's an insult to me.
If you want to be enemy of China or Chinese people, I would tell you that you won't succeed. If you really want the world to improve, then think over on what and how before you protest.

The crimes have been committed not only to the people of Tibet, but also to it's land. Deforestation have been regular activities for the half centuries, and due to that landslide, climate change,and flood which has killed hundreds of people. The most serious crime is the Nuclear Dumping near the Tibetan villages. Millions of Han Chinese were resettled in the Tibetan plateau for the purpose of wiping out the Tibetans and it's culture from our own land.

They sing Chinese national anthem to show their support to Chinese government when the protestors trying to interrupt the Olympic Torch event. There were much more supporters than protestors yesterday. Unfortunately, you can't see them on the BBC.

When HU JINTAO was Party Chief of the Tibet from 1988 to 1992, HU JITAO suppressed the independence movement of the Tibetan people in barbarous fashion. HU JINTAO slaughtered 200,000 Tibetan people in just 4 years. The tragedy of the Tibetan people has not come to an end yet and is still going on.

The world should boycott Beijing Olympics in order to express strong protest against China that clamps down "freedom of Tibet" militarily. China has already slaughtered over 500 innocent Tibetan people and arrested over 10,000 Tibetan people in the current case. More than 10,000 Tibetan people are terribly tortured by Chinese military now. All mankind should protest loudly against China now! The world should not allow China to host "Olympics". China is the grievous tyranny!
