@Florida21Girl It takes 30 mins because I have a lot of hair but having a good curling iron the heat evenly and fast saves more time. When I use a cheap curling iron, it took an hour and didn't still curled all day.

Wow, I'm commenting to you because you're actually a guru that comments back. See, I JUST bought the BabyBliss 1 and 1/2 inch the blue one at Ulta, (joys of working there ;) I had one of my salon girls curl my hair with it, and she got it how I want it, now I do the technique right at least I think I do, and it DOESN'T curl! I don't understand what i'm doing wrong. She even had put some hot heat I think from Redkin, please, what can I do? :(

@pixieprincess0702 is your hair dry before putting products and how long you curl per small section? Make sure your hair is dry and change the setting to the highest heat then curl it and hold the iron for 45 seconds to a minute.

Yes ma'm, I do let the product dry. I have held a piece for about 45 seconds before, and it just fell. I can get a curl out of it every now and then, and boom it goes out. I don't know, I haven't tried in a few days, so i'm about to wash it, then maybe i'll try it again, and hope that it'll do what it wants. Thank you for replying <3 @BeautySplurge

If you want a professional flat iron and you are ok with spending around $140 I would highly recommend the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it heats up to 450f with temperature control, dual voltage, tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. Also has a 3 year warranty. If you do look at other irons make sure to stay away from irons with painted plates (colored plates) these can damage your hair.
