5 dancing Israelis arrested on 911 in NYC demand the US start & fight more wars for Israel. ~would have been too darn expensive to remove all that asbestos from the twin towers~ Modern day warrior Mean mean stride Todays Tom Sawyer Mean mean pride Though his mind is not for rent Dont put him down as arrogant His reserve a quiet defense Riding out the days events River What you say about his company Is what you say about society Catch the mist catch the myth Catch the mystery catch the drift
People are confused. Martin Luther King was a registered republican, look it up. Democrats, besides fighting lincoln to prevent the freedom of slaves, voted NO on civil rights and then again voted no to allow black men to serve as witnesses in court. The liberal left has ALWAYS been about segregation, and MLK knew it. It even took a republican to make MLK day a holiday. ONLY when Democrats came up with welfare did they start getting the black vote, now 95%, which is just modern slavery
I've checked MLK's official site and i didn't find such registration.
Oh BTW the opposition for the creation of the holiday was BEFORE it was even passed not "many years later."
Washington Post Oct 4, 1983:
"Sen. Jesse Helms (R-N.C.), charging that the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. espoused "action-oriented Marxism" and other "radical political" views, yesterday temporarily blocked Senate action on a House-passed bill to create a new national holiday in memory of the slain civil rights leader."
Republicans have claimed MLK was a Republican, but as far as I'm aware there is no evidence for this. However, if true it wouldn't be surprising because, prior to 1964 most of the racists were in the Democratic party. Then, when LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act abolishing segregation, and the Republicans invoked the "southern strategy" (talking about "states rights" as code for segregation) the racists jumped ship to the Republican party. (eg-Jesse Helms was originally a Democrat.)
"The liberal left has ALWAYS been about segregation, and MLK knew it."
Really? Remind me again who signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 into law, abolishing segregation? And which party did racist, segregation-supporting Democrats like Jesse Helms join after they'd quit the Democratic party in protest over it?
You know they treat him with so little respect, his party, that he can't do anything without their prior approval. He can't spend any money without their prior approval. The Republicans think Obama won cause he's a cool black guy, so they bring out their own cool black guy. (not quite)
1/4 mile long trains going 35 MPH do not stop for cows. They take up to 1 mile to stop because of the weight and speed going forward. The impact has been known to rip school bus's in half. What do you think happens to the cow? I might be too literal, but I hate the steele statement. Even if he could stop all reform- why? No reform? almost everyone knows the system is broken and even though we don't agree on all of the means- why stop any attempt at reform?
do you even know why the cowcatcher was invented? it was invented so that the train doesn't have to stop to move the carcass out of the way. if he's just going to stand in front of the freight train and moo, then let his ass be run over by the the damn train. of course i'm speaking in context of this metaphor
Did Michael Steel clear that out that with Limbaugh?
Because I believe Limbaugh is taking the credit for derailing Health Care for the people.
Maybe Limbaugh will say tomorrow This House Negro is getting way to much out of line, we will ne to put and House Negro how is more docile to keep him in Check.
Maybe Limbaugh will appoint a different Negro as chairman, one that is more apologetic to the white masters like Jessie Lee Peterson
No, it didn't qualify as an act of plagiarism because Steele claimed to be the COW on the train track. I believe Limbaugh was claiming to be the PIG on the train track.
michael steele is more like a sheep. I hope he stops speaking on behalf of the "american people" and stop telling the media or the president about what we think. Frankly there is no worse representative of me than a black man who sold out his race to a racist organization in order to be awarded the honorary white man trophy.
At this point I'm thinking Axelrod and Gibbs must be having daily meetings to decide what metaphors they can use to make a fool out of Steele, knowing that he'll just extend the metaphor.
Obama as Superman.
"Yeah, well I'm Mr. Mxyzptlk in my badass suit, and I'm gunna THWART his plans."
Obama as Seinfeld.
"Yeah, well I'm Newman, and I just stuffed a giant turd in his letter box."
Obama as Popeye.
"Yeah, well I'm Bluto, and I just put a shitload of E.coli in his damned spinach."
While you and your party of obstructionists have been playing your games and having your tea parties, how many Americans have died because they didn't have access to health care?
How many Americans have lost their health 'insurance' (what a joke) or have gone bankrupt because the insurance companies would rather deny coverage instead of doing what's right?
LOL That was great... Steele is such an idiot. I would be so embarrassed if I had voted for this fool... no wonder the republicans are all so pissed off.
I get a lot of flack for my opinion that the GOP is THE BIGGEST THREAT TO THIS COUNTRIES WELL BEING but people need to wake up to the truth about these bottom feeders. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT IN THEIR CLASS! The GOP Republican opposition to healthy Americans is foul! It is CLASS WARFARE
He should have said, "Oink! Oink!" 'cause this man's a PIG!

Number, MLK has never been a republican.
If he is, then why would republican congressman (like Jesse helms and John McCain) OPPOSED Martin Luther King Jr day?
laleeloolelo 2 years ago
Martin Luther King Jr, 1928-1968 registered as a republican in 1956 for the reasons i mentioned.
They opposed it, many years later, because we already take so many days off of school and business and the man wasnt a president.
Look it up your self please.
