+ the death of Imam Husayn was a sacrifice which saved Islam, n yes, they way he suffered was rly bad but it saved Islam, if it was not for Husayn, I doubt Islam would be standing at this very moment, his sacrifice said what he stood for, he showed the true message of Islam as did the 14 infallibles. I say sacrifice because Prophet Ibrahim had to sacrifice his son and then Allah (swt) asked him not to as there would be a bigger sacrifice later on which turned out to be Imam Husayn.

Not only did Umar (رضّى الله عنه) and Umm Kulthoom (رضّى الله عنها) bint ali get married, but they also had two children together, namely Zayd (رضّى الله عنه) and Ruqayyah (رضّى الله عنها). Umm Kulthoom (رضّى الله عنها) and Zayd (رضّى الله عنه) died on the same day and their funeral was held together. Evidence of this comes from a fifth Shia Hadith, narrated in the esteemed Shia work, “Tadheeb al-Ahkam” (Vol.2, p.380) in Chapter “Meeras.

the record of this marriage is in the Shia’s most reliable book of Hadith, Al-Kafi. There are at at least four separate Hadiths attributed to the Imams which affirm the marriage of Umm Kulthoom to Umar. In fact, the 23rd chapter in the Book of Marriage in Furoo Al-Kafi is dedicated to the marriage of Umm Kulthoom and it is called “Bab Tazwig Umm Kulthoom.” Two of the four Hadith are in this chapter, while the other two are found in a related chapter on ’iddah after marriage.

@Islam1491 My brother....seems to me u need a history lesson.....at least we shia's know where our imam's were martyred.....u dnt hav a clue where ur umar, usman n etc were buried. U ppl hav dnt nothing worng.....i mean u burned Prophet Muhammed's daughter's home, strike imam Ali from the back when he was praying...didnt have the guts to strike directly, poisned imam hassan (prophets grandson) n finally killed imam hussein which da prophet clearly said ''Husayn is from me and I am from him''.
