I don't believe cops are worthy of any special respect. They are paid to enforce the law, not to be the law. A cop is no different than any other working person. A lot of cops think they can do whatever they want because of the badge. A lot of them are seriously high on power and up their own asses because of it. This cop was one of those. He has no right to tell anybody to do anything until a crime has been committed. He didn't protect or serve the city worker or anyone else in this video.

I would have tased him sooner. When the officer pulled out his taser the first time i'd say " You have 3 seconds to put your hands behind your back before my taser goes off". After those 3 seconds I am firing, the individual is in cuffs within 3 minutes instead of 5-6.
