sticks out fist & points BIG thumb upwards & says, nice vid dustin! Glad to see you back & making quality vids! 18 attemps you say? Reminds me of the agonizing attemps at filming Sp1d3r 7oad horribly "attempting" to catch crickets & those ever so quickly moving butter & silk worms! lol! Some creatures simply dont perform when being watched by humans or the "eye" of a camera! nice capture!
@c0mfor7a31yNum3 Thanks a lot Jake, you actually came to mind when I was getting pissed off about the filming going wrong! She's usually pretty good infront of the camera, but lately she's been a bit shy.
@ReptilesAndSuch its actually really funny cause i just finished a quick movie that actually pokes fun at s7 on that subject, funny how that works out ya know....it will be up in a bit, yea that means today......
@greendayhieu Be careful when ordering from triple L, they are okay sometimes but I have heard some bad things about them. Just be on the cautionary side as they are a rather large company.
@greendayhieu There are a few I know of being pretty decent, Golden Gate Gecko, Your Gecko Guy, there are a few more that I can't remember the name of. Oh also, I was watching your videos and I saw the RIP video of your Leopard Gecko. It looks like it died of Cryptospordiosis, a condition caused by the Cryptosporidium parasite, it kinda is a plague amoung captive Leopard Geckos, and trust me there is nothign you couldvd done. BUT dont use anything from its enclosure on your new leopard geckos
@ReptilesAndSuch you serious!? so i cant use anything from the enclosure on any pet? D: and how did it get the parasite, because i got it from petco, which i will never get any live animal from again.
@greendayhieu setup, as it is highly infectious and it can live through bleach and even amonia cleaning. Everythign from the enclosure, including the actual enclosure, needs to be replaced. Essentialy, you need to start from scratch.
@ReptilesAndSuch you serious!? so i cant use anything from the enclosure on any pet? D: and how did it get the parasite, because i got it from petco, which i will never get any live animal from again.
@greendayhieu Sorry for the late responce, I was taking a Biology Exam. The parasite was most likely from the breeder where petco purchased their animals. It tends to hand around breeders who don't have animals with the infection euthanized. Then it spreads throughout their collection like wildfire in austrailia. Unfortunately petsmart/petco are known for having crypto infections in their leos, as they buy from cheap (crappy) breeders/wholesalers
@greendayhieu So yes I'm quite serious. You could try cleaning with 8% ammonia, but even that has questionable effects on killing the infection. It can lay dormant for sometime. It's worth shelling out the money to restart and buy from a quality breeder than having another animal get the unfortunate parasite.
Again I'm sorry for your loss, you really couldn't have done anything. Cryptosporidium is VERY hard to detect untill it's too late.
@ReptilesAndSuch ive heard of a tokay and some other leopard geckos get cured from crypto from pepto bismol, but it took like 6 months... and i'll replace everything it touched if i get another herp. Thanks for the help dustin, and love the hair bro lol
@ReptilesAndSuch hey man, its greendayhieu again. this is my new reptile channel. I will be going to a reptile expo very soon and my parents will hopefully be letting me get a new adult leopard gecko. i uploaded a video of me getting rid of the crypto. thanks~
keep up the videos man, love them.

@MrREACHCARTER1 Crickets over mealworms. Way more nutritionally sound, and less chitinous. Less fatty too. Crickets make a better staple diet.
