@leomantles No South Africa produce these aswell they vary from R4,R5 and R6 these are Galil's but produced in SA under a differant name as you can see from above R meaning rifle 4,5 and 6 are differant versions R4 being nearly a metre in length to R5 having a shorter barrel the the R6 also a much shorter Barrel.

@dafranx It jams if you get it troo wet but its made for desert warfare and urban combat aswell as veichle screws it has alot of stopping power thanks to the lower caliber round than the aK-47 and is more accurate. But it has pretty bad penatration compared to the aKs monster bullet.

Story is after Israel's war for statehood in 1948, a large # of AK's were procured from the enemy, IMI quickly found why it was so reliable (long stroke gas piston) but its defects. So they built the Galil, which improvements over the AK include a longer sight radius and a larger charging handle to make reloading easier.
