Alright, I was just watching Caddyshack on Sunday on AMC! I was here on Youtube trying to find Spaulding clips and found this! No matter how many times I've seen Caddyshack, if I see that it's on TV, I'll watch it again. I've always thought that Judge Smails and Spaulding were the best characters in the film. I would've never recognized this as Spaulding from the greatest movie of all time! I've been reciting lines for over 20 years, one of my faves Ahoy polloi, which I use on a regular basis! Its funny how no one ever gets the line correct from what you ask for before Ted Knights famous "You'll get nothing and like it" line! It would be a great pleasure to get a response from the real deal John Barmon!

Me too, especially since Doug Kenney (who co-wrote Caddyshack)gave me that line. He was in the background of many shots, and was "Stork" in Animal House. Passed away tragically several years after the making of Caddyshack while vacationing in Hawaii with Chevy Chase.

Similar to RELubber, I've got asthma and whenever there's something physical in the offing I come out with: "What about my azzmar" in your US accent (I'm British). The giggles after the "I'll give you azzmar" reply are still heartfelt today, which must be 20 years on, much to the bemusement of non devotees.

"Lacey Underall" is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in a movie, and I still have a big crush.
