I think either Uncharted 3 or Skyward Sword should have won GOTY because Skyrim is WAY too overrated they claim it's so long and will last you a lifetime but after the main quests are over the rest are boring unnecessary and just easy at least Uncharted 3 and Skyward Sword have MUCH better story lines and characters and are pretty challenging! (and playable on the consoles they're on unlike Skyrim)

Agreed, Skyrim lacks in a story that you actually will want to finish. Uncharted and Skyward Sword have such amazing characters also, such as Drake, Sully, and Katherine, and Zelda, Groose, and Ghirahim. It really makes it worthwhile.

Uncharted 3 is my personal GOTY. Even Batman Arkham City, Portal 2 and Zelda Skyward Sword are more close to GOTY for me than Skyrim.

@gvsnake1992 well.. as of now, uc3 is the ultimate cover-and-fire game. batman is the ultimate comic book superhero game. portal 2, the ultimate scifi game, and zelda is the ultimate retro game. skyrim is obviously the king of rpgs now. it's all about choice. personally i find all these games of equal awesome standards.

im sure everyone had a hard time deciding on the GOTY for this year, considering the amount of quality games this year offered.
