In the second round the guy in green/black idk what color it is isnt really fighting like a midievil knight would.. too much jumping and spinning i mean one spin like that and you could get stabbed in the back and it left you completly open and jumping ruined ur balance if you landed wrong or if you were hit in the air your balance would be thrown

I am sorry, but these fights are staged. They are part of a play performed at a medieval festival in Romania (in 2006). But, anyway, thanks for the positive comments and we are glad you liked them.

Uhm, sword play is considered nerdy and somebody without a life? sorry to say, but it is hard to sword fight, and I bet any one of those guys in that vid could beat you down without breaking a sweat. Plus, for those who commented on how boring it is and without much action, thats real fighting for you my friend, not the fake stuff you see in movies.

When your actualy in a chalenge you can't worry about flash, it only gets your out.

PS: I like to spar, but am only on buffer weapons atm :(

im sorry to bring this back up, but spike, no matter how many years you've done tae-kwon-do, it has nothing to do with sword disciplin at all. i agree that the way these people are fighting has no historical proof, but your grounds on which you complain are not true. and ive been learning and teaching armed disciplins in sword, spear, bow and unarmed for the better half of my life.

Comme on. They never had the intention of making any "Real fight". They are just entertaining a crowd in a real cool maner. When you fight for real, you can stike whenever you want to hit your oponent and your goal is to kill. But in a show like this, you must be in total comunication and timing with your partner all the time. It is not easy to fake hiting hard with rage and fury while keeping a perfect contol of your sword because you don't want your friend to get hit.
