  • is this the original choreography?

  • Nice

  • Ok, I know this song is about an audition but where is the energy? Not only was the dancing bad, but there was no energy at all! If you don't have at least some good dancers, don't do this number. If it was the whole show they were doing, it's called A Chorus Line! You need some strong dancers in it.

  • haha this song describes my life in theatre

  • I always think about Land of the lost when i watch this!

  • hmmmm..... I'm not trying to be a "hater" but if you do your own chreography to a chorus line it really should live up to the standards of the original choreography.. and if you can't do that... you really shouldn't do it at all.. or at least Post it on Youtube for everyone to critisize :-\

  • It had some of the original in it!

  • @smango87 You do realise that that chreography is VERY fast and difficult, especially to sing too. This is most likley a community theatre, I doubt you can find good enough male dancers and so many of them to do it.

It's literally so fast that it's impossible to do full jumps to, you need to make you jumps like... half jumps. xD

The combo could have been better done but for Christ sake, it's just community theare go watch broadway if you expect that much.

  • do the opening combo.. it's lasted so long successfully because it's the best.. this coreo.. was not good.. sorrry

  • @theethmannnn Agreed. I'm in a production of it right now and we're NOT doing the original choreography and it makes me sad. It's so good when you actually do it right.

Also, why is your opening number so slow? Part of the energy comes from the intense, fast music.

  • That was bad. =/

  • OK why do all the "non broadway/national tours" start with the people stretching??? when i saw it, the lights went dim the piano started right into the opening number

  • If a choreographer is choreographing a piece he/she and some of the students cant do a step, dont put that step in the performance piece! the balancés in the ballet combo-horendous! good singing though.. Dancing in general.. simple is effective.. you dont have to put in hard steps that people cant do , it just dosnt add when you do that

  • FYI- Not everyone had to be spot on. Some of the reason people are 'cut' in A Chorus Line is because they are NOT good enough. Or good at all. Just saying.

  • Oh I agree with you, for this scene there needs to be all different kinds of people but there isnt, there is just a cast of people who cant do the step.. There all weak

  • Do you not realise that this is a scene from chorus line where they are auditioning. This isnt supposed to be perfect, its supposed to be off, its the regular audition process. It's not supposed to be simple steps. Some people are supposed to be a step ahead, or behind, etc. Maybe you should know something about the storyline before you go making judgemental comments.

  • Actually there is a choreography bible for this show, so you are technically supposed to do the original choreography. Generally evertime you see A Chorus Line all of the choreography is the same.

  • OMG ENERGY PLEASE o.o .... good singing badass actually but you guys could've done better ....

  • uhhm have u ever seen a chorus line....

    at least it original choreography...

  • agreed but ever that guy is at the end, he has a good voice

  • haha, thank you. That is me at the end.

I actually agree about the intensity comment as well, but I do believe some people had it. Although it probably is safe to say the majority did not.

  • @the726 whts ur name then?

  • eeeek not that good you guys lack intensity
