Your quite good man, but stop show diving and catch it admittadely its for a video but in a game you would have to hold on to it or you will get punished

first off youre diving backwards, you should be diving towards the ball. My trainer makes me catch every ball that hits both of my hands and stop making unnesesary flops and tipping it over the post, youre not fooing anyone, get some footwork down.

Whats you handling like? Your communication? Your positioning? I bet you dont do any of the above in a game. It may look good but it would piss me off as a defender if i had to react to your pushing every ball away.
I am not going to boast but, I play for west bromich Albion, goalkeeper 12, and your positioning is poor handling is poor...reactions are good, but...my goalkeeper coach always says to me, the best goalkeepers don't dive! Only when really needed!

Biggest show diver no offence. Im a keeper in the highest league for my age... and do you know how to hold onto a ball? Pretty much every shot you parried, maybe you should film yourself in a game, so not so show orientated. just my opinion.

he did well with some shots although i think he should all the ones he has dived backwards for because they were at a reasonable height to catch and you are on your heels thats why but he obviously made this vidoe to show off his shot stopping ability and he is an ok goalkeeper could do with a bit of work but in all fairness he did make some really top saves

Some genuinly good saves ill be fair with the one you hit on the crossbar early on being a standout, however technically nothing there that makes you stand out other than you clearly arent a fan of catching.

Catch the ball. That's all I can say, the majority of the shots that were taken weren't struck with much pace meaning that they were catchable. I play goalkeeper and I also could have caught a lot of those shots. Good form though.

How many times will you be able to catch a shot and pretend it's moved in the air and fly across goal to tip it over? Or, go down in instalments to tip a shot on to the post? I played for Brighton&Hove Albion under18's and had trials with Fulham, Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic; and i know that if you have a good pair of centre halfes in front of you then it doesnt matter if you parry the ball like that.

He's good. He could've catched a lot of balls. But as long as he clears them to the other side of the field, there's no need for it, even though it would be better. He could make a great keeper even though he doesn't catch balls.

Crossbar shots were lucky as anything could have easy gone in Dramatic Saves arent always best ive strained my back doin dramatic saves stick to simple saves and Catching the ball

lol some people on here don't understand about being a goalkeeper at all! Being in an academy is all down to who your parents are, you your coach is friends with, the area you live and who you play for... When it comes to goalkeepers, it is even more difficult!

if u actually play in goal, u know u can't catch every single shot, depending how the ball is placed and how hard it is all u can do is parry it away

Will you lot STOP PLAYING KISS CHASE!!!! This video shows what all of us Sunday League keepers like to do when in the park with our mates... How many times will you be able to catch a shot and pretend it's moved in the air and fly across goal to tip it over? Or, go down in instalments to tip a shot on to the post? Exactly, 9 times out of 10. I have no issues regarding Shaun as a goalie, I bet he's pretty decent overall and he probably enjoys his You Tube notoriety also. Good fun video boys...

seriosuly if you guys are telling him to catch the ball cuz he is going to be scored on...go play American Football or some crap like that... YOU CAN NOT EXPECT ANYONE TO CATCH THE BALL 100% of the time especially on those kind of shots!!!! YOU CANT SAY SOME ONE SUCKS CUZ HE DOESNT CATCH IT. AND BTW you win by preventing the ball from coming in at any cost saving and/or deflecting.

He could of caught 80% of those shots.
We all know it and even Shuan probably knows it, but the reason why he wasn't catching it was because he wanted to make the movie look more interesting.

Not good at all. More then 50 shots i think and you didn't catch one ball. And why dive if you can put one step and catch it? I'm a goalie too and i think you can learn a lot from me, your reflexes aren't that bad, but you got to learn how to catch else you gonna suck like youre doing now

nice saves man but if your in a position were a guy bombs it at you and u just parry it away and some ones right next to you there gonna boot it in and score so u need to catch the ball as much as possible but yeah very nice saves!

Alright shaun son, nice saves there! you remind me of me when i used to set up a camera with my mates. Listen people its not always about catching the ball. I played for Brighton&Hove Albion under18's and had trials with Fulham, Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic; and i know that if you have a good pair of centre halfes in front of you then it doesnt matter if you parry the ball like that.
i did see situations were he could of saved it;but then again he's show boating for the camera! nice vid

He's good. He could've catched a lot of balls. But as long as he clears them to the other side of the field, there's no need for it, even though it would be better. He could make a great keeper even though he doesn't catch balls.

amazing saves
but yeah, you need to 1) catch the ball more often instead of parrying
2) get your body behind the low ones and hold onto them (ie, dont use your feet as much)
apart from that, your reactions and instinct is spot on.

lol Just a bunch of haters here, Im a goalkeeper myself and I agree with some of the comments, yeah He should catch the ball more often, But as long his not leaving rebounds inside the box its ok, as long as he saves the ball and they go out on corner its fine.

Crossbar shots were lucky as anything could have easy gone in Dramatic Saves arent always best ive strained my back doin dramatic saves stick to simple saves and Catching the ball

He is very good, but you cannot deny the fact that he can't catch to save his life. Maybe he is just doing it for the video to amateurs - but to a trained goalkeeper like myself and others here it looks very shit.
Also, my 4 year old son could hit shots harder than that LOL.
All in all, a very good video; 5 stars.

Not bad saves here but to be honest the shots aint got too much behind them, harder shots would beat you. Good reactions mate I just hope when you're playin properly it aint for the cameras.

lol some people on here don't understand about being a goalkeeper at all! Being in an academy is all down to who your parents are, you your coach is friends with, the area you live and who you play for... When it comes to goalkeepers, it is even more difficult!
The kid has great reactions, reminds me a bit of myself before my knee op! Maybe a few times there that he could have stepped across and caught it, but he was making a compilation tape of Camera Saves!
