It's nothing to do with "repecting" religion. It's a belief, being christian is a way of living and it's offensive to take god's name in vain. It would be like me calling your a member of your family, you wouldn't like it! Why not try and be nice to christians, haven't you noticed they're always nice to you, love one and other etc. x

there is plenty of evidence for god. Look around you, existance is proof of god. Even scientists agree the chances of life being created randomly even if the entire universe had the perfect conditions is such a small percentage that it's just not a valid option. No no no that doesn't disprove god, yeah u can "take us out of the situation" hypothetically but then you have to put us back in it. We do live in this universe on earth and the facts are that it is a disregardable theory that the universe randomly appeared. Now on the topic of God being "created" as hard as i might be for us to comprehend, God exists out side of out space time, he created our space time. God ahs always been and always will be. Now there is no evidence for a begining to God.

Well firstly when someone puts a point forward, in science you don't prove it the idea is you disprove theories showing they aren't credible, however, since you asked. Tell me, can chance create such a vast and beautiful universe such as ours with it's intricate design and amazing nature. When you look at a painting, there is every chance some atoms smashed together and formed a canvas which had a landscape painted on it, but is it not alot more credible to say that it has a painter?

so in the same way look at how beautiful and amazing the world around you is. Do you really believe it's credible to say that our world was formed by chance? The perfect distance from the sun with the perfect amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide 2 sustain life, the perfect temp and eco systems that flawlessly look after the entire animal kingdom. The list is endless. There is no way that God doesn't exist.

At dave6779, I've actaully noticed that christians aren't always nice really. Sure, the bible tells you to be nice and sure there are some good people who are christians but it's the same in group of people, some are horrible. Like some woman on the train who was so self-righteous as to shout at me because i didnt see her and therefore didn't offer her to sit down. It had nothing to do with the seat, i was having a religious debate at the time and she was a christian. She didn't like what i said
