This is the second red fox I've seen do it. It could be in the genes; the other fox was his father a year or so ago, but the video on this one is better.

Fran, thanks. Tree climbing is rare but it does happen! The footage is all taken in Sussex (south coast of England).

Wow... Over here Grey Foxes are known for being excellent Tree climbers but Its really rare to see a Red Fox Climb a tree
