So, I've played the Game, and the 'Eve' bottle of mitochondria is the same antagonist as in the Parasite Eve game, or did the Game antagonist just take the name after the bottle of mitochondria?

@schassis ok so, asuka gets stabbed in the leg by her cup trying to escape eve (who's actually a giant blob) but eve gets her and drags her across the floor, with the shard of glass in her leg dragging across the floor (very loudly according the book). asuka's crying and covered in snot, then eve makes part of herself go into asuka via her mouth, which causes her to puke all over the place and then onto herself, and then it goes inside her and possesses her :D the end (did that make any sense?)

This movie has no relation to the game.. Well maybe there is, hinted from the game.. However, don't get it wrong. This movie really do not concern the game and only based from the novel. While the game is also based on the novel, and do have some reference (the hint) to the movie.

Haven't checked it out, but my guess is that this movie came out first due to the novel, and then some time after that, the game came up (Which is claimed as adaptation to the novel).
