  • so pretty! =]

  • from 0:14 to 0:16 I just love that part. Gives me chills the way it works.

  • damn

  • at like 200bpm up and down. Its actually pretty dang hard. XD

  • Me and my friend want to do this for our music GCSE. I play the alto sax and she plays the trumpet.

  • . . .

must learn this after a couple years of practice xD

  • this is awesome, this is really good !

  • Creo que el cuarteto de saxofonos Villafruela tiene una version que a mi me parece mejor.

  • my dad played sax and i did also

WHen a kid Dad had a records of a sax player called Galledoro

or maybe that was the album name

He did this bumble bee one awesome

  • Mistakes? Where?! This is AWESOME!

  • No words can describe how awesome this is...

  • wow they were really good.

i play all types of sax and this is probably the best sax version of song i've heard(:

  • i play tenor sax. for East Lincoln High School Marching Band and LOVE every minute of it!!!!!!!

  • omfg i tried playing... scratch that... LOOKING at this piece and i screamed. I am an alto and this just freaks me out.

  • how old are you? I play alto tenor soprano sax, flute and clarinet and i can play this on most of my instruments. The key is to play it slow at first and then gradually spped up. (im 14 years old) :b

  • 12. I am now learning this lol.

  • dont worry its not that hard, im 12 and i just finished learning it, just practice your chromatic scale...a lot and relax

  • yeah, but you are 12. You have no doubt learned a slow, watered-down version of this song. No 12 year-old has the musical fortitude to play this song.

  • You have no proof of that.

  • Comment removed

  • all about the saxaphones... yall rock...

  • jeez, ur good

  • Doug you look so cute! Do you still have the costume?

  • you are my hero

  • I thought this was only a clarinet peice... but u guys r so good u just proved me wrong! Great job! :)

  • I have to say, that was an amazing performance. I hope to one day reach that standard of playing. Well done :)

  • 2.5 on a ZZ reed? That is soft. Plus they're softer than most other reeds. But whatever works for you is what you should use. I remember I used to play on alto with a 3 1/2, but after playin on tenor for a while all I could use on alto was a 3...but also sounded much better.

So whatever sounds best is what you should use (and everyone in this group sounded really good, so there ya go)

    =)

  • i have one question..... how can u play on vandoren 2.5 reeds?

  • just noticed the person on the far left is dressed like a bumblebee

  • Ha! That's hilarious. Just made the video even better

  • try staggering your breath more

  • OMG...That was amazing.

  • i would like to be see the bari play the solo, that would be awesome. other than that great job

  • :D I tried to play this on my Bari, but you need so wicked much breath.

  • die Melodiestimme sollte etwas lauter sein

  • this music is the hardest peice to play

  • DANG! Wow this is good!

  • I fuckin' love this piece, props guys. ( and gal)

  • hats off to the guy in the bumblebee outfit hehe ;)

  • please, someone

send me a link to this arrangement

  • You should here a group called Saxopeel play Bohemian Rhapsody for saxquartet. Its awesome-especially the guy who plays soprano!

  • I did see any soprano playing...

  • I was the student of Greg Robinson. One of the guys in Sax O Peel. He's the one that played soprano.

  • is there a way the Dr. or you can post a link to an adobe or finale file of the arrangement

  • any tips on gettnig a good tone?

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • Daggum! Very nice! Other dude already said this, but... incredibly clean for how fast y'all were going! Great work!

  • astounding!! major props for the fringering!!

  • Pretty awsome guys!

  • There are some low B's in this arrangement I have, so I would have done octave jumps with a soprano sax too. This arrangement was written specifically for the alto sax's range and uses a low B all the way to a high F. Thanks for watching!

  • I was digging it until you dropped down an octave at 0:42. Why didn't you just use a soprano?

  • wow thats crazy

  • pretty good, guys!

  • holy, christ, tremendoes props for the moving of the fingers, faster than usual, but clean... kudos

  • cool
