  • I'll be the first to admit that I don't care for their new material, but check out their performance "Live At The Orange Lounge" (I see it on my sidebar, hope you do too)—the boys grew up and ROCK it.

  • good song

  • great song

  • Yes retard. This is recorded with a camera....... But on a live performance!

  • i agree

  • Wow this is great. It's a shame its so out of sync though... I remember this being on their enhanced CD they gave out as promo items in the late 90s. Good live version - I really need to find that CD and rip a better copy of this excellent live performance!

  • Love the harmonies in the bridge. Very reminiscent of Brandon Boyd.

  • @sybrrguy agreed! brandon boyd is incredible!

  • These guys used to be so good. It's a shame.

  • This is definitely not the live version. The sync doesn't even come close to lining up and there is no back ground sound from the crowd. This is the record version.

  • @Valeraid No, it's a live version. It was just an official video taken for a 3 track live CD they gave out in the late 90s. That's why its so clean. It also sounds nothing like the album version.

  • @FIL, ALT, and Lykan: This was actually a live performance, but it's pretty obvious that it's been heavily edited so that we can actually hear what's going on. Footage of live concerts is usually awful, so they edited it to make it watchable...

  • @undiscokidd42 yes. thank u! somebody needed 2 say that. im saying its not live thats it.

  • @FIL1994123456789 but you'd be wrong if you said that...

  • I LOVE THAT IBANEZ GUITAR!

  • this is not live

  • Are you retarded or just acting?

  • @LykanKhan. it sounds just like the actual version. i'm not saying f11 isn't good live (because that would be a lie)

  • @FIL1994123456789 Uh, yeah, it is. Stay in school

  • if its live, which it isn't, why does it sound exactly like the recorded version? why is there no cheering in the crowd? and why does it have such great sound quality (as in it is very clear)?

  • @FIL1994123456789 No, this is live. Its clear because it was recorded directly from the soundboard, just as other "official bootlegs" for any band are done.

This doesn't sound at all like the album version - I'm not sure what you're smoking on that one.

This video is definitely out of sync, but its also very old. I have the original video somewhere on a F11 disc I had that had three live F11 songs, and was an "enhanced cd" you'd play on your computer to watch the videos.

  • @bsdaemon666 ya... after listening to it over again your right!

  • @FIL1994123456789 Go watch them live, you'll find out in a hurry why it sounds ALMOST exactly like the recorded version. I was blown away watching em thinking to myself OMG they sound just like they do on the cd and what a energetic live show.

  • Damn ! i need a bogner in my rig.

  • reminds me of good ol' deftones.

    very very cool.

  • how does this remind u of deftones? Sounds NOTHING like them at all. Nothing whatsoever.

  • Yeah three days grace completely ripped off old finger eleven. Even the way the guitarist looks and plays in the videos looks like James from back in the day.

I Can't stand that unoriginal piece of shit band.

  • haha I agree!!

  • @LykanKhan I hear that. These days bands are more concerned with how they look rather than how they sound. It's easier to copy what's popular to break into the business

  • For the most part I agree that the old stuff was better, but Paralyzer the single was pretty on par with the old. The rest of the new stuff though......

  • sounds almost exactly like it does on the album. this is good

  • I hate the newer stuff. Maybe it's just me, but they were so awesome back then. I wish they'd change their name so when I talk about Finger Eleven my friends don't sing paralyzer. But that's just my opinion.

  • the frontman looks like mark wahlburg. xD

    BADASS SONG

  • ya the first cd was the best

  • Golden! One fucking word. Actually seven now!

  • Heheh

  • I always said that this band was the influence of CHEVELLE, and hearing the other songs from TIP it's pretty clear isn't it?.... just acknowledging the roots of Chevelle's sound which I love by the way!. Both bands sound is the middle ground between NU-METAL and HARD-ROCK.

  • Finger Eleven's been around six years longer & gained popularity first. Any reason you think they were influenced by Chevelle & not the other way around?

  • @cdogg009 LOL almost as bad as the APC vid for outsider i was watchin the other day, buddy commented they sound alot like chevelle, I'm like not quite if anything chevelle sounds like them and that's hardly true.

  • they are soooooooooooo much greater than chevelle!!!!!

  • I think three days grace are influence by F11..

  • Ellos pueden ir a mas y lo saben, tienen que seguir con el metal, con lo que hacian antiguamente, eran mejores antes.

  • oohh how I miss the old music!! i mean the new stuff is ok but their old stuff is amazing!

  • I agree their old stuff is amazing...but buy their new record...its great...I understand how the songs that get played on the radio get the response they do...they have definitely changed their sound...they remind me of the offspring cause they both have all these catchy songs on the radio but still put out kick ass records

  • saw them in stockholm 16/12, awesome.

  • This is the best song from tip

  • Holy shit this stuff is so much better than their new garbage

  • Have to agree.

  • i completely agree, what happened to them.

  • AWESOME! =]

  • Well 'Tip' and 'Greyest of Blue Skies' are virtually the same album. cept GOBS was recorded better. The art produced was very similar tho. Self titled was still good, just a bit different. The talent of these artists was wasted on new album tho... Still own all 4 albums tho :S

  • Them vs You vs Me isn't a waste of talent, they just changed their style. But yes, I agree that their older records were much better in that I enjoy their old sound.

  • So sad to see what's become of this band. Their first two albums were great. Epsecially Greyest of Blue Skies. They need to write songs like this again.

  • I LOVE FINGER 11!!!!! I dont think ive heard a song i dont like yet from them :-)

  • It's not that OLD school, Rich Beddoe is playing drums in this video. Rob Gommerman from RBM actually did the Tip record before leaving the band.

  • I wonder what happened to Rob?

  • This version is even better than the original!

  • I am not sure if i should buy this song or not. iTunes recommended it for me, and i kinda like it.. but i dont know if i should get it or not.. can someone help me out?

  • why not get it? its a great song and its probably finger eleven's best

    just spend the 99 cents

  • true

  • ORRRRR you could go get the whole album from the bay.

  • buy the albums. go off like amazon and get them all cheap. i love every single finger eleven song my least favorite album is the new one so ya.

  • OMG this is SO old school.... This song is one of their best. If you're a newbie fan who just tuned in, go grab Tip and TGOBS and their album as Rainbow Butt Monkeys, Letters From Chutney. If you came in liking Paralyzer, a quick listen will make you see why longterm fans are nostalgic for the old days.

  • well put! Paralyzer got them noticed, even though One Thing did in a few yrs back, F11 have moved on so much from album to album =D

  • i like old finger way better than new this song is the shit but that paralizer bullshit sucks

  • Amen to that man.

  • Finger Eleven is one of my favorite bands. Their songs pwn. Also, if you want to see some guitarists who really get into their music, you should go watch some of Papa Roach's videos. Like Getting Away With Murder.

  • Some shit I have to say:

For Scott: I like your hair here, but your newest style kicks ass! ^^

For James and Rick: You guys are bad ass guitarists and you are both crazy as hell... I like it!

For Sean: Love the bass! I am a fellow bassist.

For Rich: You've always been one of my favourites! You really get into what you do and you jam on those drums, dammnit!

And for the whole band: You guys fucken rule the world!

  • @xXFingerElevenXx Nothing against Sean by any means, i completely love this band and still in my top 3 of live bands to watch, i just find it hilarious how everyone on stage is goin nuts for most songs while sean just kinda stands in his spot and grooves along. Rich on drums during the greyest of blue skies tour was amazing, still kick ass for the rest of em, he just had a funky style then that was fun to watch. James and Rick, WOW awesome stage pressence, and scott kicks ass too

  • You know it's old school when scott is supporting the vintage CAESAR haircut lol. I did too back in the day. I really wanted them to play this on Saturday at Massey Hall...

  • The bass line sounds nothing like Tool...

  • the bass line is very toolish

  • crazy freakin canadians

  • the people dancing look really high!

  • Ohh, o so love this intro, and i love the paralayzer-intro also.

  • who s lead guitarist?

  • Thats whats great about finger eleven, they both play lead and rhythm. however other bands(eg. red jumpsuit, though i do like em) try it but don't really do it right, or nearly as well as these guys.

  • holy crap Scott looked so much different 9 years ago

  • isnt dat guy d frontman of 311?

  • Wow do I miss F11 shows in small clubs.

  • favorite song by them too bad their new stuff is commercial garbage

  • I wholeheartedly agree.

  • reminds me of my college days.this song kicks ass!

  • this song is ACE!

  • Totally reminds me of high school haha. Great song from a great album.

  • dreyersg you said it, i was just saying the exact same thing.

  • I thought these guys where destined to be one of the greats when I first bought this album.... guess I was wrong all their other stuff sucks

  • They really know how to balance the heavy parts with the mellow parts.

  • Sadly, have to agree about the latest album, but the old stuff like this is excellent.

  • i love all of their songs:D i'm going to see them live october 31st

  • dont like the new stuff very much but the older songs rock and they're still great live.

  • i agree....finger eleven is mainstream poopoo now.

back in the day they rocked it

  • Anybody know where this is?

  • toronto

  • hooray good finger eleven, new finger eleven is shit pure shit imo

  • i love this song

  • they sound so different nowadays, i still dig them, but i still like greyest and tip the best

  • Finger 11 STILL ranks as one of the best "live" bands I have ever seen after nearly 10 years!

  • Still my favorite song by them

  • What year is the vid from?

  • The best sounding live band today

  • love this song

  • scott is so hot. <3

  • I'm always amazed how these guys always sound as good live as they do on their albums.

  • seen em 4-5 times in many different venues... 200-300 people and 10 thousand.... their sound is always consistant. Scott is mighty mouse - such a strong voice out that small guy - you kick ass scott

  • great band great song
