I know that many members of the band are from Scotland and England, but the Young brothers and Bon Scott all moved to Australia at a young age and consider(considered in the case of Bon) themseleves to be Australian.

Britain, America, Australian and Canada all have had some great rock bands, but I don't think it really matters where a band comes from.

As a die hard Muse fan, i can promise you that they are on a musical level far above this mindless anthem driving group of songs that all sound remarkably similar... i mean.... come on... they do sound VERY similar. If you thoroughly disagree, it is incredibly difficult to find two Muse songs that sound similar, and they exploit far more interesting musical ideas and explore far more than oasis did. I get what your saying, but noel gets a song to fit perfectly- all instruments playing for the sake of the song not for showing off. Matt bellamy is very talented but some muse songs arent great and as a singer hes excelent sometimes and crap other times. Bellamy's a better guitarist but Noel has written some of the best songs ever. If you played Supermassive black hole(muses most successful song) some people would know it. I saw them later in the tour at Sunderland and his voice was so much better. The problem is they do the big televised gigs at the start of the tour when his voice isn't up to scratch but by the end he's always so much better. Seriously watch some videos from the sunderland gig, he was bang on.
