Back in the 1980s I had a full function wired remote controlled car and my sister had an rc car with the cheap "press button to go forward, press again for reverse" mechanism (i think these worked by detecting the presence of a radio signal only and a flip flop in the car to chose direction. No codes or tones involved) She would get pissed because my car created so much RF noise it controlled hers!

you obviously dont understand what is happening here, he uses a controller to move the car into the path of the magnetron or cone and then the microwaves are overloading the circuts which makes the rc car react

What the... I though a magnetron needed a cap and a transformer 'n junk to run. It looks like you just took a mag out of a mic. oven and powered it up.

Nice HERF I made one with a horn and 3 caps and could only get a range of about six-ten feet. Is that about the limit for an oven magnetron?

parabolic antennae are designed for ~2.5GHz which is right in range of the standard cooking magnetron.

its not focused enough to have a high power density at a distance but yes, its pretty biologically dirty within closed spaces like a garage or if you stand in front, i've heard of some people heating up their hands in it though, and they use it in hospitals to heat the body internally, it's non-ionizing so it doesn't cause mutations of cells.

i don't discus details of the design of such things unless its at a conference for defending against them, but feel free to ask something here if you want, the power levels you mentioned are correct however please take into account the antenna gain since this is the most relevant factor when i comes to power density at the destination

an isotropic antenna loses power pretty quickly as distance from the antenna increases there are videos of people lighting flourecent tubes while holding them int heir hand, which is probably not a good idea for many reasons, but your main concern should be damage done to the eyes

Umm, I thought microwaves are reflected by metal, pass through and are focused by glass, and absorbed or dispersed by most everything else.
