My 87 gta 350 idles at about 1300 1400 rpms some times 1100 ik its to high why is this anyone know how to tone it down thanks?

you could have easily gone with a 560+ cam id up the injectors to 36lb and do a new ignition system on it. now im not sure but are the l98 heads the gm swirlport heads made for good fuel economy and low end torque. if so id swap them out asap but very nice sounding car man! best of luck to you and hi5 for doin it in a thirdgen.

hey man sounds bad ass. i had a 90 ta 305 tpi. all stock. i built a 355 for my truck a while back and there is a major dif. in a stock bore 350 and a 355 .(0.030) over i loved the horsepower gain and believe it or not i actually gained about 3miles to the gallon lol.

nice, right now i got my 87 l98 iroc taken apart puttin comp cams xfi 268 , 373's some headwork and some other stuff, how did you work the long tubes into the ypipe and catback, and do you have any problems with ground clearance right now the back of my car is lowered about 1.5 inches and front is stock and i scrape just about everything, i got hooker supercomp sortries but i wish i could do full lenght headers i love that sound
