  • Hasta con harapos es hermosa! (tiempos modernos).

  • Just wanted to add that Ms. Goddard was born Marion Paulette Levy in Queens, NY, and Goddard Hall at New York University is named for her, as she bequeathed 20 million dollars to that school in her will.

  • Paulette was very sexy woman. :)

  • Very good and I like the effects.

  • I love her in Modern Times. She's captivating. Very young.

  • She was one of Hollywood's most beautiful personalities. And a much better actress than most people gave her credit for. And quite intelligent....her husbands included the silent movie immortal Charlie Chaplin, the actor Burgess Meredith (yes, The Penquin himself!) and the world-famous writer Eric Maria Remarque (perhaps most famous for his WWI novel "All Quiet on the Western Front"). Thanks for posting this amazing tribute to the late great Ms Goddard.

  • Yes.I beleive that there was soooooo much more to her. There was something very special about Paulette...most definantly.

  • Yippee Ki-Ay Paulette! Cooing, Ooh La La! Une Femme. Mamma Mia she's a Foxy Lady. That Kitty cat has claws, Paging Miss Goddard,... Paging Miss Goddard... Miss Goddard, we have a gentleman on the line for you.

  • @xABitTooGorgeousx

    AGREED!!

  • Keep coming back to watch this!

  • thats so clever i love it <3

  • Nice video of her. She has a wonderful smile full of energy . Reminds me of what our mothers and aunts used to be like.

  • most beautiful woman ever!!

  • Agreed :):)

  • I Love her in Reap The Wild Wind! She's sooo adorable in it!

  • She is the most beautiful/ravishing beauty i've seen in my life till now. Maybe "Hedy Lamarr" comes a little close.

Love her cute adorable smile & sparkling eyes.

  • Hands-down Chaplin's greatest discovery. As soon as Paulette and character actress Mary Boland arrive on the scene in "The Women", they pick the film-up bodily, stick-it in their hip-pockets and NOBODY has a chance thereafter! Besides "The Women" and the two-Chaplin's my favorite Goddard performance is in "Diary of a Chambermaid", directed by Jean Renoir. She was also a wonderful foil for Bob Hope in their films together. Paulette was just plain "wonderful", period! R.J.

  • It is true - Paulette is still very underrated. And she truly had the movie star power and she was a very good actress, as well as interesting personality and great beauty.

  • The pictures, the music, and the lyrics - UNBELIEVABLE!

Her life was amazing - 4 husbands, including Charlie Chaplin and Burgess Meredith.

Thank you for posting something truly SPECTACULAR!

  • Sorry ..i gotta post again. I just love this, it just does something!! =D

  • Thank you! The song is "Light in Your Eyes" by Blessid Union of Souls.

  • What is that film with Paulette & Jimmy Stewart? Gotta see that one.

  • Pot o'Gold (1941).

  • This song is beautiful and suits her so well, shes fab!

  • FINALLY, a wonderful gift for all true fans of cinema. At last a great showcase of how beautiful, inside and out Ms Goddard was. She was a treat to watch on film and to think that she was the frontrunner for the part of Scarlet before Selznick meet Vivien; that would have been something. Thank you for the post!

  • Go watch Modern Times, The Great Dictator and The Women and you'll love her forever.

  • Exactly.

Oh Dont forget 'KITTY'.One of her best.

  • That was a FANTASTIC tribute you did!

  • Superfantastic! Nice, thanks for the video. I have been hooked on Paulette since Chaplin's "Modern Times". She was gorgeous, and she would be my reason for going back "Somewhere in Time".

  • I would have loved to have an other song for it (maybe something from her time :)), but still a very good tribute and it is nice to see so many different pictures and scenes of paulette :)

  • Very, very beautiful tribute. :D I think just watching this video is enough to convert anyone into a fan of Paulette Goddard.

  • paulette was the best actress in those years . this is a wonderfull tribute i loved it , thanks alot

  • I'd rather spend an evening watching your beautiful videos than trying to find a good film on television or at the video store. When I was a youngster it was easier to find good old movies on television...I can't believe the slim offerings we have now. Thanks for another great video, Paulette was beautiful but earthy and real, too, not like the flimsy performers who are in films now. Keep reminding us of the great way things used to be!

  • What a gorgeous video. The music you chose is absolutely perfect. Thank you.

  • She was the best. Plus she was very smart, did well for herself, had more jewels than most movie stars.

  • Ok what can I say....fantastic as always!!! You always pick the nicest songs!!

  • Can you pls tell me the name of song and singer? He has a beatiful voice. Excellent choice to fit such brilliant video.

  • Thank you for your kind comments! The song is "Light in Your Eyes" by Blessid Union of Souls.

  • Tks so much for your quick answer.

  • You make such wonderful tribute videos for these classic stars. I loved her in Modern Times. She was so sweet in that. You picked great clips.

  • I love this.

    Paulette really is underrated.

  • Finally a wonderful video tribute to a wonderful actress. You did a swell job.

  • Paulette is amazing! Tks for your tribute.

  • YES!! I love her...especially in one of my favorite movies "the Women"
