No and reason I would say this is because of the fact there will be millions of computer systems that will be at sky-net levels and not all of them will have an aggressive attitude.
There will be computers that could be designed to counter act the risk of other computers.
We also have to take into account there will be people that will merge with computers as well so as to boost their brain power.
So (reading between the lines) it's not possible to build a QC to run Shor's algo at the moment? (because that would obviously be extremely commercially interesting)
A question: has a QC (to date) made a calculation that wasn't possible (in a realistic amount of time) with a classical computer?
@Amaroqdricaldari The only thing I know is that one computer costs about 10 million, and the first one ever was sold to some type of company that produces missiles. One of my teachers told me about this today because he went to school with one of the engineers behind all of this quantum computing, and he also said our computers are like stone age compared to quantum computers.
@DnceGnrtion That means hardware upgrades are completely obsolete then.
I can't wait to see CCP Games use a Quantum Computer to power EVE Online. That should solve the lag problem for sure. Finally, an end to the War on Lag.
I hope the Quantum Computer is compatible with Mice, Keyboards, Monitors, Speakers, and programs (and files) written for binary computers.
@Amaroqdricaldari That will take another 10 years at least. I'd say another 5-6 years and quantum computing should be as popular as blu-ray was back in 2008-2009.
Excellent video. Thank You.

How much does their Quantum Computer cost?
Also, is it compatible with things such as expansion cards and various other hardware upgrades and monitors and speakers and such?

@Amaroqdricaldari
I think it cost about $10 million.
and it would require engineers and technicians to run.
It would not be compatible with starts electronic components today.
In future people will have access to Quantum computers via cloud services.
