They are worshipping something that dates back from men had no advanced technologie and thought there must be a superior being that created everything and they thought it was that glowing ball in the sky because they noticed it influenced life and growth on earth.

Sure there is some 'truth' and history to learn from the bible etc, but that all got messed up in centuries of bad translations and editing

I think if people would read the Qur'an, they would see things clearly, without any adulterations made by man in the former revelations of God. It seems muslims knew this and many more things for 1400 years.

The bible states that after crossing the red sea they wandered for three days in the wilderness of shur until they came to Marah.

The wilderness of shur is in the northernmost part of the Sinai Peninsula, which we know from the story of Hagar in Genesis:

"The angel of The Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur." This spring was called Beerlahairoi, which we know is in northern Sinai Peninsula.

Paul said that Sinai was in Arabia, not Saudi Arabia. At the time of Paul's writing Arabia had different geographical boundaries, and was largely a part of the Nabataean kingdom, which included the Sinai Peninsula.

Paul does not contradict the accepted view that Mount Sinai was in the Sinai Peninsula.
