  • whats the difference with 215 jvm and the 210 dont know much about this thanks??

  • is this amp good for metal or should i use pedals? thanks

  • is it good for blues and jazz?

  • i like the little velvet revolver lick at the start

  • nice playing, i like the sounds out of this but it the distortion on here good enough for metal or should i still keep my pedal?

  • What you do? Turn the bass to zero? It sounds so tinny. Sort've sounds like a wah stuck in the down position. Terrible. I heard a few clips of this amp and it sounded good. You need to work on eq''ing.

  • Is there a tutorial to make those sounds like in 2:26?

    BTW nice vid;-)

  • What are the settings at the overdrive ?

  • maybe too loud for an apartment??

  • @alexmetallicaZFC13 who cares?

  • @Mate1525 maybe the neighbours

  • @alexmetallicaZFC13 Are you his neighbour?

  • Hi does this have an fx loop??

  • @lantyboy yes and it's pretty good, quite transparent not like the DSL401- shit fx loop

  • nice playing at the end, great pinch harmonics, sounds bloody amazing

  • I NEED A JVM COMBO!

  • @sportsportsport i need one too but i wont a jvm 205c cheap

  • Rape Me, my friends

  • only amp effects? no other boxs?

  • rape me, hell yea haha, awesome

  • yeah!!!!! AC/DC

  • Dude 2:31 this thing has some chug!! don't sleep!

  • The JVM's are great, but if u r looking 4 one that has a bit more than this go with the JVM 410. I have one, it's got 4 channels each with three seperate channels so u actually have 12! plus a great reverb.. for a digital. Plus a six channel programmable footswitch! and soo much more!

But if u want more metal out of your JVM, put it on OD2 (overdrive 2) and use a guitar with an EMG. It is a bitchin sound! Rock on... and Get a JVM 410!

  • Dude can you play this at bedroom levels? I heard you will need a hot plate or attenuator to push the tubes at bedroom level... and i'm assuming you can't plug headphones into it lol

  • If by bedroom levels you mean quiet, then yes it actually can go very quiet... but if u turn up the vol, it will split your ears in a room the size of a bedroom.

And no mine does not have a headphone jack but i'm sure you could find ones that you could hook up to your speaker output on the back of the head.

Got any more questions, just ask.

  • Hey thanks man I appreciate it... the 215 is the 50 watt correct? so it will break up sooner than the 100 watt... and i know the combo comes with celestion v30's i think, but every half stack i see on here most people are using 1960 cabs, and i think those have green backs? do you have an opinion on these speakers?

  • I use a 1960, but it is really up to you to go play and compare both.... opinions really do matter.

The 215 is a 50w and the jvm comes in both 100w and i believe 150w, but the 1960 cabs are usually rated for 300w. So no matter how loud you turn the vol up, you wont get that stupid muffled sound that is caused when the speaker can't do what you are telling it to.

Also, the 410 is easier to use if u do alot of channel switching, because on the 215, clean and crunch r on the same channel.

  • @starcraftguy3 how much does this amp cost

  • @patrickledford420

the 215c will run about 2500 - 2600 american, and the 410c will rune about 2900. I have a 410, and its amazing. But remember the "c" means combo, so the head is built into the speaker. If you want a 215h or 410h, it will cost more for the head (because it will put out more power) and you also have to buy a speaker cabinet. I sugest going out and trying 'em all out. Good luck man, and if you get it, i hope you love it.

  • @starcraftguy3 thanks i appreciate it

  • @patrickledford420 no problem.

  • This amp has Master Volume so it should be usable at Bedroom Vols - just about!

  • if you an effects pedal through the effects loop u can use the headphone out from that to hear the amp on 'silent operation/ standby' mode. |And no, you don't need a hot plate or attenuator, this is 2009- plenty of gain stages.

  • jvm 410 with 12 channels is overkill. cant beat the JVM2 mate. I love mine. Less fucking about and a simpler footswitch. 50w crankable beast.

  • Can you get a tone like the Marshall Kerry king Head with your amp, if you can I'm buying one

  • yeah i must know it too (sry bad englissh ^^)

  • does it own footswitch?

  • what is this song? 0:27?

  • thanks for this dude..I play along to alot of ac/dc think this amp is right up my street...nice work..

  • awesome dude. Does it have a good effects loop?

  • How much?

  • i play punk is this amp good for that genre, im looking for that ramones sound

  • Is that a charvel? If it is, can you tell me what model it is?

  • nice amp man, sounds real good. can u tell me what scale you're using around 3:10-3:20?, sounds cool

  • Thanks. I'm just playing a combo of minor pentatonic and some Eastern-flavored stuff there at the end. I don't know music theory well enough to explain what scale(s) I'm playing.

  • i think it's the phrygian scale, altough i can't tell what the key is

  • @pjswhu harmonic minor, minor with a raised 7th. In othe words, Eminor scale with D sharp instead of D

  • You sound great and that amp sounds great. I have the model 205C. I notice a big difference in volume, bottom end, and gain when switching from mode to mode on my amp. How have you set the controls on yours?

  • Cheers for that guy! I've been waiting for a vid of this combo for ages and it seems like the amp for me. I'm glad the first video up was from someone who had a decent video camera and who could actually play! Cheers!

  • Absolutley.

  • I have this amp- the sound is great at low volume- but the EQ sounds like ass at low volumes. I find a good starting place is to put the Drive channels EQ all on 0- then work up from there. Otherwise you will end up with harsh, thin and fizzy distortion.

Also the stock speaker is muddy- so swap it out for a vintage 30 or something- this is a very cheap mod to do- and you can always pick one up from Evil bay.

  • Loads of variation. With subtle eq adjustment it does fat and warm- with high eq settings it does that classic Marshall wasp-in-a-jam-jar-upset-the-sound-engineer sort of sound :) Seriously though- I've always hated marshalls, but this amp has really changed my mind about them. I also find the fact that it has a useable clean channel a bonus, plus it can go from totally clean to fat OD just by using the vol control on the guitar.

Quick question- has anyone tried the XLR line out? Any good?

  • if you're getting passable tones with a jvm then you're an idiot, throw you're crap digital mods in the bin.
