This version does nothing for her voice. It's absolutely beautiful when she sings it live with just a piano. This sounds synthesized and she doesn't need that. Also, that "Hip Hop" drum beat is off and annoying.

@noutubeusrnames I disagree. This version is actually better than original, and I'm not a fan of her with solo piano on this song personally. The beat isn't "off". It's simply that she's singing in triplet and the beat is in duple. Works perfect and gives a great counterpoint and "slows" the song down, which works with the theme of the song as a whole.  Very brilliant; would love this version mp3!

You're certainly entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. I DON'T care for this version at all and the drum beat does not slow the song down from what I heard originally, it actually speeds it up. It's busy and muddled and drowns her voice out, on top of which her voice sounds synthesized. As a vocalist I want to hear the vocals clearly.

That's the whole point of many remixes... her voice IS hauntingly beautiful and the beats behind it don't get rid of that. They did a great job with the beats- it's not supposed to be better than the original- it's supposed to be different

Almost, man. Almost. The beat is, like, a fraction of a second slower than her vocals. The longer it plays, the further her song gets away from it...If you could speed the beat up just a little (or slow her vocals down, no pun intended... :D), it'd be near perfect.
