  • I wish I knew how to upload because YT needs more Jen, especially Gun Shy Trigger Happy. Some kind soul, take pity on us. Pretty please?

  • SOMEONE PLEASE UPLOAD GUN SHY TRIGGER HAPPY..PLEASE!

  • @jovanna242 how about supporting her, going onto Amazon.com and BUYING her album? What a concept, huh?

  • Such an incredibly talented lady. I remember rocking out to "Better Than Nothing" all through the summer of '95, definitely one of the best times for music, at least in my short life lol She really flew under the radar on the Boston scene back then though...I'm from the area and never heard much from her before that record came out, or maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention. I'd love to get my hands on her book but I can't seem to find it anyplace...prolly on her website though.

  • some people are ment for music .,,then theirs the rest of us.

  • I'm still very mad at myself....I was supposed to see her with Paula Cole back in '97 and I miss that show like a fool! I still kick myself because Gun Shy still rocks my world and I never got to see this lady perform...grrr

  • @jovanna242 I'm with you there about not seeing her live and I live in the Greater Boston area too. Gun Shy is one of my favorite cds of all time and certainly favorite from a female performer. I wish they had a YT vid of "Rang You & Ran" which is superb. Ah, Jen, come back!

  • dawna marie .....i will always be your friend...for better or worse. I hate you right now but I know when the temporal dust settles only my love for you will remain. years from now we shall have a drink or two. maybe not ...maybe so.

  • This song is on the soundtrack to a movie called The Misadventures of Margaret with Parker Posey and Jeremy Northam. Someone involved with that movie has good musical taste.

  • This is an incredible song but every song on Gun Shy Trigger Happy is just so amazing. This is my favorite CD from my favorite female artist. It's too bad that she is no longer making music as it's completely our loss. It's a shame that some of the most talented artists can't make it in the music biz. Just got her book and am looking forward to reading about her experiences at that time in her life. I guess I knew about her because I live in the Boston area but is she really that unknown?

  • Every couple of months I do a search on her, hoping against hope that she'll decide to record again. She's so gifted I can't believe that she's done with it.

  • I'm right there with you. Have you read her book? It sure explains why she walked away from the whole filthy business. But it makes me wish I lived in Boston so I could catch one of her rare shows.

  • Same here. Glad to see there are always a few new clips. I'd love to hear some new music from Jen, but I wish her the best no matter what. One of the best. Oh, and read the book if you haven't, folks. It's fascinating.

  • @gmiller1122 Just finished the book and agree. You can understand why she quit, but it's sad nonetheless. Great writer and performer. Too bad the music biz is so messed up that talent like hers gets shuffled aside for pablum. And the biz wonders why sales are down...duh!

  • incredible. she is such an incredible song writer. this will stand the test of time.

someone will eventually cover this and it will be a #1 single.

  • Good point. I hadn't thought of that before. Then maybe we'll see a 'comeback' tour?

  • jen brings me to such a beautiful place...they say smell evokes the strongest memories...i say music does...

  • I agree completely!

  • Truly, one of here best songs, and there are many.

  • Just read the book - why I went looking for videos. It IS damn good, so are the records. I wish she would do more...

  • What a great video. Jen will always be one of my favorites - there's no one like her. If you've never heard her albums "Cockamamie" and "Gun Shy, Trigger Happy", do yourself a big favor - listen. They're incredible! She's also written a great book about her experiences in the music biz called "Everything I'm Cracked Up to Be". Hopefully, there will be more great music in the future.

  • wow....i'm so happy to see this.

no one knows who she is...her two albums are awesome, especially gun shy trigger happy.

    thank you for posting this.
