Purkiss-Rose held public desing workshops, invited the skaters of the community in which the park was for. The skaters would then design the park and approve the final concept. When you've skated a long time and fairly mastered skateboarding, there's a tendency to get bored. To make it fun, you invent new tricks or take old tricks to new places. I think that's what Frank's doing here. He has nothing to prove to anyone. Frank absolutely shreds. If you saw him when he was on Powell and and in early 90's, you saw why he was pro. I used to love his absolute master over switch 360 flips over gaps-in 1992 no less! Go frank.
i like how there were like 2 or 3 tricks in there that were actually difficult tricks, and yet there was like zero style on all the easy tricks. lame music too, phelps was right, and the only reason he retracted his statement was he wanted his fucking job, which i dont blame the guy. anyway this guy skates like a regular assskateboarder in this video and its edited as suck to make him look pro, but it never shows the roll away, and did i mention the shitty music?
thats because he is nuts. about 10 years ago in the year in review section, he was listed as most likely to be mauled by a ferrett. frank should die in a fire... him and his girlfriend.
i heard he tried to kick erik ellington out of front seat after he called shotgun just because he was pro at the time and ellington wasn't. it was years back

Frank is a good guy. He designed a few parks that sucked but I think back then the parks were aimed towards beginner and intermediate level skaters.
If you have never met him then you just can't talk shit.
