@Minimonster06 not really. you can only get a all motor titan into the 13s never 12s where there is chevy and didge trucks in the 10s and better for chevys.
@PAPARYNO i watched those videos and like i said a fullweight all mtor titan wont run 12s. that truck has cams,every bolt on and a TURBO and barley broke 12s! those same mods on a 5.3 chevy pickup would run 11s.
My dad has a Titan and it's a badass, very fast truck but the power and torque of a 454 Big Block is awesome and much more different. I have an 84 GMC Shortbed with a 454 and when up against a Titan, my GMC just out muscled it by 4 car lenths. You just can't compete with the power and torque of 7.4 Liters of Big Block Chevy. 410 hp 520 lbs of torque with a mild cam upgrade. My hat's off to the Titan though, that 5.6 is a very nice engine and has lots of power. Would not mind having one.
Well said....The 454 has loads of torque... a very well respected engine and for good reason... That Titan being the new kid on the block with its V8 really did great...Cool that you respected both trucks...I'm not an import fan but that new V8 from Nissan is seriously raising the bar in my book..I gotta give credit where credit is due and well deserved...and it does it
@dwaynomac24 a stock 454 ss pumped out 230 hp in that model of truck..not as much as the titan considering it had 315 hp and 385 tq...the numbers dont lie and you cant tell me that you would scrap history...
yeah the 454ss is a fast truck if your thinking about trucks 98 and older. the titan is one of the fastest production trucks built today besides for the thundra
