  • Man how things change. I remember getting 52 mpg with my VW Rabbit diesel simply by bumping up the injector pump a little. Now a days they got ya by the balls with this "new technology". It sucks and costs big bucks, too. Not fun anymore.

  • I need to do this to mine, I got 13 going to Colorado from KC at 80. Sick of this horrible mileage, makes me miss my old dodge for that alone. But I am sure with a tune and an exhaust I would be so much happier with it

  • My Dmax currently gets 20.3 mpg. Running in the city. I am driving across the country in a week from AZ-NY and will be making videos as I go along. Check out my videos! Duramax LT 2003 Straight piped with Bully Dog chip and computer 375 hp

  • I have a Duramax LMM and i have a 5 in turbo back with no dpf and no cad or muffler and it runs fine without a tune on it.

  • @scotturban54 but you have to have something on it...what programmer/tuner are you running.

  • @95chevyboy we hadded thy twitches ain'ts you stitches ain'ts thy witches

  • @scotturban54 didnt it throw any codes

  • @ShowtimeStables66 yes at the time it threw the dpf missing code, but still ran same as normal, Now we got efi live on it (See videos) and doesnt throw any codes lol

  • With the DPF delete, is there an engine light? Thinking of doing it to mine with 5" turbo back.

  • With a Tuner, the check light from DPF removal can be eliminated.

  • with out a tuner that has dpf delete your truck will go into limp mode and not let you pas 25mph and 2000 or 2500 rpm i cant remember

  • is that 20 MPG City or Highway?

  • Highway

  • i've got my MBRP turbo back ordered from ptp. it should arrive wed! how long did it take to install and which programmer did you use to delete it?

  • nice it says in mags if u get a programmer u get damn good gas milage i cant waint 2 get my 1st truck

  • I get 14.0 lol

  • 20 thats good, I get 22 at 68 thats the sweet spot for my Diesel. I get 22 cause of my tires. I run Michelins LTX M/S & Michelin LTX A/T2. I get 20 in the winter with the A/T2 on.

  • 20mpg @70mph....Thats funny.I have the LBZ,After 65 it drops off like a cliff....70 is around 14 mpg.I also have the quad.

  • Damn!! What size tires do you run and what HP setting?

  • Must be the Quadzilla you have. I've heard many guys saying the tuning on the Quadzilla isn't very good but they are one of the cheapest programmers. Quad's don't dyno as well either. My PPE tune on level 2 gets 22-23MPG all the time at 70MPH. If I drop to 58-62MPH, it does a touch over 24MPG.

(07' LBZ) I have the PPE mod in the stock airbox and a Silverline exhaust in addition to the PPE standard tuner.

  • I'm not sure, I have not taken it in for any work. Keep the tune mild and don't beat on it, shouldn't have to worry.

  • did that kill your warranty???

  • I just got it fixed i didn't know i had to download the new program...thanks though it is much nicer not having to push that stupid button all the time

  • No problem.

  • I have to reset my engine light a lot while i am driving does it do the same thing to you?

  • It shouldn't come on at all. What codes does it throw and does your dpf delete tuner have the latest update installed?

  • What song is that?

  • Element 80 - Flatline

  • His quadzilla I think can elliminate the CEL for the missing exhaust boat anchor.

  • Yes, it blocks the CEL's and ups the hp if you want. I run it with 50hp extra for fuel milage.
