You're calling a game a ripoff that was made by the SAME COMPANY of the game that you are saying it's a ripoff of?
Or maybe you don't know that the guys who made this game are the same ones that made the Double Dragon. Either way, you should have done your research first before calling it a ripoff. That's what I try and do when I make reviews.
This game rules. There are even two translations for it in Russian. One formal and one with explicit language. Combine it with good old classic style beat em up and sounds from Street Fighter II when hitting someone, this game is a sure winner and it is one of my SNES most favorite games.
Kunio and Riki are from pretty much every Kunio Kun game. Not just River City Ransom. Unfortunately most of them haven't been translated to English. And of the ones that have, they're still in most of them I believe, except Crash N' the Boyz.

Technos Japan DID not ripoff they OWN game LOL so to say to try to get a laughs and fans the tables turned on you dude this was the most biased unrelenting ass review I ever heard. Did you even play games back in the 90's or you one of those fake ass next gen gamers.
There is no way that this game sucks, I LOVE IT!!!. I played this like 20 times and still play it. this game will be remembered and never gets old for me.
Calling Kunio-tachi no Banka (Kunio's Eulogy, NOT Shin Mutta) a "Double Dragon ripoff" is about as ignorant as saying that Ocarina of Time is a Super Mario 64-clone. For the record, the Kunio series predates DD by a year. Also, the game is more a sequel to the JPN version of Renegade (the first Kunio-kun) than a River City Ransom sequel, thus calling it "RCR3" is completely misleading. If you want a true sequel to RCR, there's always Kunio-kun no Jidaigeki (Technos Samurai in ROM translation).

Three Things
1. SM64 and Ocarina of Time play completely differently. These are extremely similar. Come up with a better analogy and save yourself the embarrassment at your own stupidity.
2. Forgive me for thinking it was a RCR sequel considering the schools and main characters are identical
3. All this does not a good game make, and this game sucks.
1) My point is that both games were made by the same people (Technos) and they're obviously going to be similar in some ways. Calling me stupid doesn't change the fact that you're still wrong and you should learn to eat humble pie once in a while.
2) Its about as much of a sequel to River City Ransom as Metal Gear Acid is a sequel to Metal Gear Solid. It has some of the same characters, but they're really completely different games with their own gameplay engine and their own universe. Cont.
3) I never said that I disagreed with you if you had actually read my comment, but honestly you should be grateful that people are actually commenting on your videos, whether they don't agree with you, recommending you some other games to try or correcting your information, because calling them "stupid" isn't going to win you any fans (and looking at the numbers of views this video has since the date it was uploaded, you desperately need them). I'm sorry, I'll admit that was a bit... unneeded. I was having a bad day. Still, a sequel to a game which predates Double Dragon... key word being sequel. MGS3:S adopted the camera from splintercell because they knew it was an improvement. This game adopted nothing from the, what, 5 years between the two games? And it stole attacks from SF2, which is just blatant.
I could never said it better. People always forget that on never take the time to understand Kunio was Pretty Huge in Japan back in the day. Double Dragon was Japanese way to bring something like Kunio stateside in the form of twins rather than brothers since Ryan came laer. Oddly Technos had different companies publish each Double Dragon game. Williams Then Romstar.

Further adding to point 1., its a sequel to a game which PREDATES Double Dragon. That likes calling the new MGS sequel a "Splinter Cell-ripoff".
