  • @filipepfg why not 100,000000000000000 times

  • Possibly the best album ever made. And one of the most powerful tracks.

  • I love the drums part in this song that gives it a martial feeling!

  • a year ago this song was uploaded how can i ever thank you lol

  • I just saw this track singled out as ''a filler'' on Pornography and an example of ''sound over substance'' on allmusic.com - I was like, WTF!?! To me it's their best track ever and one that I enjoy together with the best songs from Sisters of Mercy's debut album (when I'm in that kind of mood :-)

  • oh lord this is so fucking genius....one of best songs ever made from the cure!together with one hundred years made the pornography album something very special....

  • huge

  • I'd always loved the big fat drums

the drums should sound always like this

  • @darkwaverful fat drums? not fat just drums

  • My fav No1 for 30+ years. Thanx thinglostinfire for posting. Thanx TheCure.

  • I will never be clean again.

  • my suicide soundtrack,(joking kind of) but amazing.

  • I like the sound of this album better than alot of the others, it cuts deeper, lower, resonates.

  • God, for a second I heard the drum roll and I was afraid I was gonna get rick-rolled... hahahahaha

  • @CollapseGenTV hahaa

  • Thank God The Cure did not let the dispair of this album take over

  • There's something *grand*and "standing tall" about this one. It somehow sounds more open and heartfelt than the rest of the Cure songs - like the despair is being confronted rather than absorbed.

  • @sibeliandrift Interesting thing I learned is that Robert Smith actually took the figurehead from the Charlotte Sometimes clip and then began to talk to it, professing his guilt to it. I'm sure thats why it seems so confrontational compared to most other songs from The Cure when facing despair. Still, this is one of my favorite songs off this album.

  • The best The cure SOUND ever!!! for me

  • un must parmi les must

  • I love this :)

and I wasn't even sure I was gonna like The Cure

  • Why can't people make music like this anymore? I hate the music of my generation, there's no talent, no lyrical content, nothing. This is beautiful, haunting, sad... it goes beyond music into art.

  • @VampiresArentSparkly this generation has good artsy type music, it just isnt popular, and you need to look harder.

  • the best rock sound ever

  • Thank you so much for posting this!!!

  • Me encanta esta cancion :)

  • I will never be clean again... He takes words on the feel

  • best cure song ever!

  • Aaaaah f**k I love this song so f**king much!!!!

  • I remember listening to this and a lot of Joy Division, visiting cemeteries and being suicidal as a kid. I felt this oneness with death, it was fucking strange....

  • @iEatBoneDust I just listened to JD - Atmosphere before this....

  • me too. the original is the best by far.

  • thanks for not posting live >:~) or someone elses stupid little cover x)
