  • Love the way religion and militarism are interwoven here with such modern aesthetics, and yet there is an ancient quality to it. Very impressive work.

  • nice...

  • Very neat video. Love the B&W, it fits perfectly.

  • As has been aptly pointed out already you have some powerful imagery here. I loved the resonance of 'delivered to Evil' and the simile 'Like the silver hubcaps of a brave new sports car/ That has lent itself to danger' Thank you for sharing.

  • Awlright, some great video for a change :)

  • You have crazy talent as a poet. Robby(63) has always told me that about you and like him I am so jealous of your voice and accent and the way you can deliver your words so movingly.

  • And the war-machines march onward.

It has been a long time since I have seen you, Elly.

    Easy

  • GREAT POEM. LOVE, grandmafottz.xxxooo

  • Just excellent. The metaphors in here are enviable--perfect and stunning. Each line of the poem screams that I am in good hands, that it will pay off, that it will be worth the journey, and it is.

  • 7 years ago? Why the delay?

  • I really love this one... it is the featured poem on my channel this week.... now please post some more or there WILL be a lawsuit! :P

Great work Elly... you make me very jealous! ;)

  • Beautiful piece, the apocalypse of technocratic civilization. A much needed breathe of fresh air! (NICE camera too by the way!)

  • Wow El, ..........amazing offering. Favorite for sure. Love your work.

With great ease, You took us there........and made us feel ...... a true poet.

  • Brilliant work... faved.

  • Hi Elly, this is really quite extraordinary. I especially love the lines," The Sky looks like she is rejoicing

And the city on fire looks like a network of sand-castles"

    Brilliant imagery.

You should know that I continue to learn so much about writing from you.

I hope you've been well, we must catch up soon!

    Robby
