Well, I like to think that it's not pivitol to the comedy that the viewer actually knows the reference in question.

But it's true, I refrence an awful lot of stuff and no, I don't expect the average viewer to catch more than about 25% of the refrences in any given episode.

Poor Mullin, it's going to be a while before Dunia makes an appearance. At least then he'll have a girl who's ineffectuality is in every way equal to his own. Btw, kudos on the choice of an awesome series to abridge. It does the heart good to know that Last Exile is being properly represented and butchered alongside the mainstream series. Your style of abridging brings something new to the proverbial table of fansubbing: confusing rhetoric and thoughtful banter. Valeo, amicus.

Indeed, I'm pretty sure that Dunia only exsists to say that one line about the guild units and to sort of redeem Mullin a bit, as if to demonstrate that yes, it IS possible to be more ineffectual than Mullin.

As for abridging last exile, well that was an easy choice. It ranks in my top 5 favorites and was one of 2 that hadn't been attempted, the other being Ghost in the shell SAC and between the two first episodes, Last exile had the more obvious jokes.

I hope that if you do like abriding you do Ghost in the Shell: SAC after you finish Last Exile. That would be a good series to see done by an able abridger.

I don't take any offense, but I think you misunderstood my comment. The lack of subscribers was a reference to Unwardil's earlier musical episode which had a line asking who does Unwardil have to hump to get more subscribers. I was attempting to joke if Unwardil had more fan service, then he would have more subscribers.

Five episodes in a little over five weeks? That makes Unwardil one of the most steady abridger out there if he can keep up this rate. I've seen abridgers with fewer episodes and haven't updated in months that have more subscribers, which is a shame.

Nice. Although have any of you considered that this war might possibley have been concived and hached by the 4 founding abridgers because they felt like some of the lesser known abridgers had some good shows and yet weren't getting noticed. So this is really just an elaberate plot to get some of the little guys noticed? Or am i thinking to hard on this?
