its probably a 1303 super beetle, judging by the cornering capabilities.

it also probably has some racing coilovers/struts & springs. not to mention some pretty good rubber. also, i would put my money on a good set of disc brakes, haha

but that has to be one good driver using his equipment well.

well, a rear engined car has a big advantage braking into the corner - also has slightly better traction accelerating out of corner too

dont be fooled, that things probably got a huge 3000cc v6 in it, its not stock. and beetles are pretty fast.

no probably just a 2332 turbo and racing gas a V6 doesn't fit very well and beetle engines have great pwr/weight ratio

@LeonSzillard doesn't need to be a type 4 for be fast, you could build i nice 2.3 stroker with dual 48 ida's that would make it scoot pretty fast, that combo could bring you as much as 230 n/a hp, or if you desire more you can go turbo, then the sky is the limit. From what i hear, you can make 500 hp pretty reliably but you have to spend some money. but those pros are really secretive about how much their engines dyno at.
