just to maybe help a bit or give you something to try: I'm from Louisiana and we creole to the fullest lol, but usually instead of using DAY OLD CORNBREAD we use MEXICAN CORNBREAD which has peppers and seasonings and all that and we boil our chicken on the bone OR CHICKEN BREAST shred it and we boil our vegetables with it so by the time its done, Technically its chicken broth lol add that and CREAM OF MUSHROOM/CELERY and maybe 2 or 3 eggs season as desired and put in oven and VIOLA!!! :)
I made this, but i tweaked it to make it my own. I used turkey sausage and boy was it good. I also used several other seasonings. DELICIOUS............
Wow whoever disliked this video must be pure jealous, You are AMAZING!! Thank you so much, you bring ideas, and Joy to Youtube's Cooking community hun. Big Huggs :)) God Bless you sweety...
I put celery in mine with all the other veggies you showed. Also i put melted butter across the top so when it comes out it is nice and crisp! So good. I also use the broth from my boiled chicken to put in the dressing. When I cook my chicken I also put onion, garlic, bell pepper, and celery in it. To make the broth better! This looks great!
@meluvself Dressing is the cornbread stuffing on the side..so it "dresses" the main meat dish. Stuffing is used solely to "stuff" a bird. Yes it's the same thing but used differently. : )
no red peppers in mine and we use the broth from the turkey also no eggs either but im on teh fence about the eggs it does bind it all together well but looks delish!!!
lol...I asked my friend if she wanted to make dressing and she asked "are you making a salad?" I then told her that it's like stuffing but it's not stove top. She told me she liked the stove top & I told her that it was b/c she never had dressing before. lol
@Raphaelx2ily I've had various stuffings/dressings thru the years but I like mixing up Stove Top cornbread and pork flavored ones.I put mostly OJ with some water for the liquid.I also sautee some onions and celery then I add half cup of pecans. It does taste just as good as the fancier stuffings.THe OJ for the liquid really makes a difference too.
