Well every game I download it freaking lags Really big lag, and then i lose my connection and my syatem crashes when i play the game. BUt this only happens to heavy games like FFXI thats y i play games with like 200 MB or less xD

Pisses me off when I see the stupid ad for WoW on FFXIclopedia all the time. Its annoying. And when i see "10 Million have experienced the intensity" I juss laugh that game is no where near intense as FFXI.

Try PM 6-4, DM, or AM44. Now thats FFXI's version of intensity!

What are you talking about? WoW has 11 million players and they have a free trial...

One has nothing to do with the other.

Also, FFXI has had ~500k players for years running now, right up to the last concensus they did a month or so back... It's doing just fine.

wow has had a trial for a long long time with tons of subscribers, i do believe 500k subscribers is a pretty low number. warhammer online is at 800k subscribers and its only been out a month. and i tried ffXI it is a pretty horrible game.

no the game just sucks, you have to load every area, you can't jump off the bridges (invisible walls in mmorpg are really stupid to put it) makes the world not so massive, you have to right click a few times before your spell list shows up and by then your dead. you can only walk around by dragging the mouse. the graphics are fuzzy and hard to see. game would not have been so bad if your spells were on the bottom like every other mmo, you could walk around with wasd keys.

1.) Use Macros, macros are your friend!

2.) You can use the number key pad to walk around, which is better than WASD.

3.) Maybe you need to tweek your settings, graphics card is bad, or your eyes are burned out from staring at the neon raver armor in WoW.

thats odd using number pad, iam used to using left hand to walk not right, and my graphics card is fine. its an 8800gt overclocked 512mb my pc got 2gb ram dual core. its fine to run this. if i can run crysis maxed with no problems i think i can run this =)

People that while over a few flaws just don't like to accept that others enjoy something they don't...as if they need everyone to feel what they like and dislike.

TBH I think FFXI has the best PLD set-up in any game so far. It's one of the biggest reason why I play because I truly am the "tank"...and not some half put out Melee class with gobs of HP like WoW and Vanguard showed me...

Don't forget you can use Game Pad 2 play FFXI unlike wow you have 2 freaking use keyboard ill stick with FFXI

If you change keyboard mode to "Compact" in FFXI config, you can use WASD to move your character.

If you want to quickly use spells, you can make macros like everyone else, then you cast spells with the press of a button.

If you want to cap the graphics of FFXI, set all of the built-in settings to max, and if you're still not satisfied, there are third-party tools that further enhance the graphics (Such as the FFXI Elements Enhancer tool.)

You stupid or what?! First, the fact that you have invisible walls just defines a game where you cant die exept in battle (and you can fall sometimes off bridges). Then, the graphics are great, and much more superior than most MMOs. Third, are you stupid or what? of course you can walk with wasd. And third, shit yeah you have macros that are better than having a spell list on the bottom and work just as fine or better.
