It was in the water so the weight wouldn't be any different if you were to be drug through the water by your arm. Once he was able to use two hands he carried it proper out of the water. If he didn't act quickly the turtle might have gotten sick from the chlorine in the pool. Jeez, why people freak out when they don't own or know nothing about the animal boggles my mind.
